Real names or forum names

Hello everyone. If you know someone's real name on a forum, do you call them by your forum name or do you call them by their real name? I like to use their forum name as then that way others will know who I am referring to.

I only call people I know in person by their real names (which is only Abe Babe/Kristen)... And everyone else I don't know, so I call them by the name they posted as!

Same here I call everybody by their forum name because I don't know their real names. Even though I do know Abe Babe and Pilots names/Kristen and Justin.

If I know somebody's real name, I'll use it. In case 2 guys I know have the same name (for example "The Daves"), I'll choose which name I want to call each of them (for example I call D.I., Dave and Majic_Abe, Majic). By the way, my real name is Luke, for those who wish to know.

For everybody else,I will tell you my name starts with C and ends with Y

I usually just use forum names unless a post is of a more personal nature (i.e. directed as a response to a member who asked a question and I know their real name).

Or if most people know someone by their real name I would use that. Sometimes I will use their real name and then their forum name in brakets. Although I do mess up sometimes when referring to Justin (Pilot), by just putting his real name instead of forum name.

I'm so proud! I started calling Xiou Xiou, now its a thing everyone says *wipe tear from eye* I keep to foru name, can'tstand my own. But my nicks X-ray (Rex in pig latin) or Ollie. Mollucks wolfie, saltys salty, Mitsurs mitsur. Para5 is paramite 5!!!! Well I got milz of names for people!

I'm Dave, David, Davey, whatever your in the mood for. Or Majic, but don't call me Majic_Abe. The Abe part at the end just isn't me.

Let me take a stab at Mitsurs name. Either Cory or Casey. Or Colby, I have a friend named Colby.

I think I'll stick with PA, or maybe a name such as Delbert might work. Or how about Daniel, or Dip. Hm...

I know heaps of people on the forums because Peter(Alcar) is always going on about every one he knows. But still i call people by there forums name because many don't know me. My real name is Andrew, but people call me Nutty Pro at school so just call me what every u wish. Nothing mean!!!!

My forum name is Al the Vykker. I chose this because my real name is Al, and my two fav species are the Glukkons and the Vykkers. So i chose last year when I was registering, hmm Al the Vykker just would sound better. So thats why my name is what it is.

My real first name is Alexander, but my name that is always said at school and by my friends is Al. I dont know how many people called me just Al having that knowledge though here.

I call people by their forum names, I don't know their other ones. And often it annoys me if I don't know who someone is talking to when they use their true name.
