You can now see the Halo 2 announcement trailer on Xbox.com. They are now allowing you to download Windows Media player 9 from the site also, though I recommend only download the trailer from Xbox.com if you have a fast connection, otherwise you will have to wait an hour, and the trailer while it plays will lag very badly.
If so, try these other websites allowing a little more blurry(very small blur but you can still tell, how good the graphics are.) quicktime formats for the mirror lists click this link:
The trailer is so awesome! Bump mapping, sweet bump mapping. The realtime lighting adds a dynamic effect to the graphics. Love the sound and music too. I need more trailers and screens!!

The graphics don't get a slight update, it is major, completely new engine. The lighting has been vastly improved, Halo 1 just looks unlit to me now. The trailer also gives us a big peek at the story; I would have never thought that the Covenant would be destroying the earth. At the end of it you find out where the first level will take place (if that was the intro movie), a Covenant space carrier. The sound and music has been improved too. Plus it is a blast to watch!

I went to Sam Goody at the mall and picked up the last copy there of the Halo Original Soundtrack. The rest of all the stores in the couple of towns and suburbs, the CD's were all sold out. Its really cool, and now all the songs are completed, instead of some of them being fragments for certain parts of the game. The CD has 26 tracks on it and over an hour and six minutes worth of music mastered from the game. You should get a copy while you can.
yea, xbox is way better than PS2. i have them both and i can tell you that xbox is better, it has better games and graphics. Halo and MO are two of the best game for it. Its too bad that GTA 3 and GTA vice city wont come to xbox for four years. Thats why i have a PS2 tho!

I just found out that they are summer 2003 or maybe around the same time of Halo 2's release. Releasing Halo for PC. I read an article on one of the Halo sites that has an article from PC Gamer about its development on the PC. I still though am glad I have bought the game on Xbox.
