final game

what do you think the final game in the quintology will be like?

i imagine a huge all out war.......
tons of mudarchers all shooting sligs, sligs in blimps shooting mudarchers, blood every where, and the first level is in the war, some sligas are helping the muds thnx to lulu and there are mud mercaaries helping the glukkens.

Well, having just finished Munch's oddessy I must admit I found the end scene a bit disapointing, but as my mate pointed out, its one of those "wait for then next one" things What we need is a combination of Halo and Abe for the next installment

Does anyone think that loading all those egg crates into the hangar is rather tedious. or you could say a " pain in the ass"

Is anyone on this site from Glasgow, (Scotland) cause we are trying to set up an X Box syndicate for some multitap type meetings................

Well I believe the end game will take more or less in the "BIG CITY" we keep hearing so much about. I don't think there will be a war but I do think there will be something really big. Something to do with all the heros. What is it? We will just have to wait and see.

Here is my crazy idea. It is based off of bits and peices of what we already know.

The quintology heroes finally get to the khanzumer cities. They somehow meet the khanzumer queen and convince her that what her people are doing is wrong. They show her what will happen to the natural oddworld if she doesn't stop buying from the Magog Cartel and other industries. She realizes all the problems her people have caused and decides to demand the the khanzumerz boycott the glukkon products. The glukkons, terrified of losing money, agree to change their ways in order to continue to make moolah. Same business, different means. The mudokons are now free, but some still work for the glukkons to earn moolah.

My rough estimate is that it will be a full on Killing Spree. Mudukons, Scrabs, Paramites etc, on one side, and on the other would be sligs, Glukkons etc. And there would be a hero (such as Abe or Munch) who has to go into THE BIG CITY, rescue Scrabs Mudokons etc before they get killed. The bad ending would be if the hero does not rescue enough Mudokons and Scrabs and Paramites and the whole lot, They natives of oddworld will get wiped out and the hero gets grusomely killed, but it's the other way if the hero does rescue enough they wipe out all of the magog cartel and rule oddworld once again. And a statue will be made in honour of the hero.

That is just my guess

the to first idea are a bit to Halo... Oddworld isn't a kill game.

I don't really know what in the blue hell is going to happen in the final game but it would be cool if in the last game the hero whoever it will be finds the power sauce of the whole of the Magog Cartel and destroys it a bit like StarWars Return Of The Jedi when Lando destroys the Death Star by shooting at its power saurce.Therefore destroying the Magog Cartle and freeing the Muds and all of the other creatures which are underthreat by the Magog Cartel.

and over time all of the land thet the Glukkons destroyed gets re-built and everybody lives happly ever after until those darn glukks decide to re-build there factorys again.

Easy. All of the people ruled by the the glukkons ect, will be set free. How that comes about will be the interesting thing.

Nooooooo, cos that would be just patheticly obvious. Unless, they're are set free but the other Cities from around Mudos come and back up the attacked one and that. Such as;

Abe, Munch and co finally get to the HQ of the whole thing, Molluck who was helping for his own benefit tells his ganster peeps (Cos he's now in league with the Mafia) to do their stuff, but as they're about to get rid of the final bad peep he laughs and says something rather sinister...such as:

"I have a gun...in my pants...Bwahaha!!"

And then out of the skyscraper window you see all the other cities enforcements coming to 'save the day' Molluck runs and abandons the others and then just when the action is going to kick in for the 2nd time...the credits come on in a very dramatic fashion, leaving the rest to peoples imagination.

The bad ending is were they get to the top, nobodies there and then a bomb explodes...killing them all. Good endings dont happen in real life, why should they happen in OW?

well, I see what you mean, but there are some hapy endings on this world, there are lots of bad enings but it isn't a reason to forget the good ones

Yeah, there really needs to be a good ending. In real life, sure, there is a hell of a lot of bad endings, but there are more good endings. People bounce back after bad happenings. So with your so called "good ending" you could add the fact that the credits don't show and Abe turns into the biggest Shrykull you have ever seen him do and he zaps all of the "re-enforcements" and saves the Mud's and other wildlife. But that is if he saves enough mud's of course.

If you don't have a good ending, well, what do people have to play for.

I believe Molluck will return in the final game. Remember characters that were over looked will prove very important later on. Somehow I see Molluck returning thinking he can destroy Abe and bring down this movement across Oddworld led by Abe , we are seeing right now in the games. He comes out of hideing because he knows that Lady Margret will soon find him. So he begs with Margret for another chance to prove himself to her. Molluck somehow convinces Lady Margret that he can revive the Magog Cartel and bring it back to the way it was. With Margret being on life support she has no choice to let Molluck regain his status. But somehow I also believe Margret has something up her sleeves as well. Something sadistic planed for Molluck. But then our heroes led by Abe foil their plans and bring the Magog down.

Molluck woudln't beg though would he. And i really dont want to see the Magog get 'brought down' and if it does happen i want the ending to be that some other factions of the Cartel arrive on another land...like...away from Mudos to start up again.

I think OWI should ask us for some endings and then pick the best ones to include as some 'Bonus footage' or something and we could see our ending in CGI animation...

I suppose that in the final game, Abe, Munch and all of the characters that will be introduced later will talk out all of their problems and hug. The Glukkons will mend their evil ways and every single Inhabitant on Oddworld will sit down and take a big gulp of Alf's famous tea. Amen to that!

This is a bit like what central gluk 27 said about the fight in the city, basically:
'The Tree Huggers' vs 'The Land Muggers' only on Magog on the March....News you cant abuse
