This..I have never experienced before!!

Okay, I was at the store. I wanted to buy a talking spongebob square pants doll *any nickelodeon fans out there, know who I am talking about) Well, I brought one and when I got home, he was talking like a girl! I mean a guy doll with a female voice? It's like G.I. Joe talking like Barbie or something. I think they mixed up the voices some how. And now, the piece of junk does not work. Thank goodness I saved my receipt to return it. He was talking like some average teenage girl would say.

Yay! I love Spongebob! * Pulls curtain and shows roomful of Spongebob memoribilia* My little bro has a talking Spongebob and I don't think he sounds like a girl, so it's either A. Kids had been playing around with that perticular Spongebob and it got worn out, B. He really does sound like a girl and I don't realize it, or C. You got a dud. I think A is the best answer, what do you think?

I once purchased a tickle me elmo that had a tickle me cookie monster voice chip. I payed 30 dollars for it, and sold it on Ebay for nearly 200$.

It said: That it loved to go to the mall, and Jeff was kinda cute and him being on the football team, girl power, it would giggle, giggle, giggle and I love you and let's sleepover tonight. I think the companie was also making barbies or something during the time and mixed the voices up.

Edit: It was a "like totally" ditzy type of talk.

When I saw the name of this topic, I thought Pinky was going lesbo...

How cheap... no one should ever get ripped off when buying a SpongeBob item...

The term "Gayer than a Pink action man" springs to mind. I would have kept that doll, it sounds A-MUSE-ING!!

I don't know if it was your uncle who bought it or not.

From the e-mails I got from the buyer, I figured they were either a young teenager, or a grade school drop out.

I love Spongebob (he's a sponge, not cheese LOL). Anyways spongebob is suppose to say "bring it around town" and other phrases, not like he wants to go out with Jeff and he thinks he likes him.

i hope you swapped it. it's that kind of priceless memorabilia that have memories attached. dunno if you are into the sentimental value of things, but if you had a laugh with your mates, bury it and whipp it out when you're a grandma for the latest generation of family kiddies. that's what i'd do.

Spongebob isn't as good as Rocko's Modern life. The gifted and talented people from that show create spongebob, which is a good show but can never compare to the greatness of RML. Wackey deli, wackey deli yeah! Now, i think that you should get money and a spongebob doll from the company who made that doll because they are bastards who screwed up big time.

Reading this kind of reminds me of the time I got a Furby from Walmart. I brought the thing home and when I turned it on it kept repeating "Ass. Ass. Ass. Ass." Over and over and over again. Well, in short, I threw the thing against the wall. What a waist of thirty dollars.

That could be a one-of-a-kind, ya know! And that Furby could have had endless possibiities, like for telemarketers. Say you'll go get your dad, then bring the Furby on! Or you can... I don't know about the Spongebob, but that sounds cool.
