Factories in future games

I was just wondering what other factories we could have in future games. We've had food factories, brewerys, labs, tree chopping etc. What else could we have? I know we'll have banks and I think Alf mentioned an amusement Park. What are some other ideas?

Nah, I don't think the Oddworld series is going to limit itself to factories and industry - science, commerce, religion and other 'industrial' places would all fit superbly into Odworld, and in fact, already have.

I personally would like to see a circus and a hunting ground portrayed somewhere in Munch's travels, but I'd also love to see someplace like an oil-rig populated by dirty black Mudokons, or the Glukkons' idea of agriculture.

Oh, and the amusement parks, casinos and nightclubs the Glukkons are fmous for are worth a peek at - can't wait to see what Oddworld has in place of rollercoasters!

yees, a television program factory, if you want I can maybe find a picture (bad quality of one of those shows)
the theme is to guess wich torture is used on the mudokon and it's presented by a Slig. Of cource you can win big prises

I would love to see a sort of circus or zoo. Something that glukkons consider entertaining but is just downright sick. Lots of underfed animals getting beaten by the slig zookeepers, mudokon slaves forced to dress like clowns and other equally cruel things.

Xavier you amaze me, your alway poping up with some new and awsome images that I have never seen before. I just wanted to know is that suposed to be some sort of gameshow? Anyways, what I would really like to see on Oddworld is...well...basiclly a huge city, like NewYork. Another thing I would love to see is some sort of odd prison.

well it's a slig show...
the sligs must guess wich torture is used on the mudokons behind the screens. If they guess good they can win big prises!

wow! That's an awsome image that i havent seen either. The slig on the far left looks like a big bro. If that's going to be in future games, than everyone's hopes of the games getting darker will come true! That looks real creepy! Good pic!

well it's a photo of my TV screen and when I did "pause" to take the picture all the colors where gone.... but the pic is in color (yellow and red)
and the slig isn't a BigBroSlig it's a normal worker class

I want to see an electrical power plant on Oddworld. The thing that would be cool though would that OWI would take the Mudokin running the mouse wheel idea from the early Munch and put that idea in the electrical power plant. I can see hundreds of muds running inside huge caged mouse wheels generating electricity to provide power all over Mudos. Sick isnt it. All the electricity is made by tortured running Mudokins in caged mouse wheels. That is why a lot of power in many factories would be so dim because Mudokins are getting beaten to death just to run inside mouse wheels and they are not running fast enough.

Or there can be some kind of massive Oddworld super market. I mean the Magog has to ship the products to some place right? Well then all the products we heard of that were made seem to fit good in a Super Market. Like the meat products from Rupture Farms, the drink products from Saul Storm Brewery and yes all the vendos have to be made by Saul Storm it makes sense and the pharmacy products from Vykkers Labs. They should be taken to these massive Super markets on Oddworld to be sold to the Kenzumers for what ever they are. That would be how the Glukkens make their moolah. They have to sell it and the Oddworld Grocery stores would be how they could sell them. I can defenitly see stores.

What is a Khanzumer anyway? In the AE instruction book it says that they will be in MO. I guess OWI took them out.

So can someone tell me what they are.

All we know about the khanzumerz is that they are veiwed as the most valuable creatures on oddworld. Without them, the Magog Cartel would lose most of their consumers and possibly go out of business. Same with the Vykkers Conglomorate. The kahnzumerz live in the cities of oddworld. I asked Alf about them and maybe he will tell us more next month. I personally want to know where they get all the money to buy the mass loads of products that they do from the industrialists.

That is all we really know for sure right now. Max might know more but I haven't seen him around for a while.

Hmmm, Khanzumers.... well here's what I know...

Khanzumers

Khanzumers are the richest of the rich on Oddworld, they enjoy buying into all the latest trends and clothing styles. Its not known exactly how Khanzumers get there money but I guess is that they are major belivers in the stock market. As Khanzumer said before the Khanzumers are Oddworlds main source of buisness, as they only buy the most expensive of products. It seems that the more expensive it is the more the Khanzumers want it, so naturally the Magog Cartel and Vykkers Conglomerate (not to mention all the other buissnesses on Oddworld) jack up their prices for cheap and useless products.
