How do i wipe my comps memory so that i have more MB woteva they are called. And how do i make my comps memory better...like...bigger so its faster. I would PM people but my comp is being slow. If people were to help me i would appreciate it if they did it simply...like...none of this 'Mother board plugs into the higherarchy prince of circuits' stuff...cos then id be like...'Plah?' So...just simple stages pweez. Tank ya.

One way is to run the 'Disk Clean up' utility on you computer. (which is if you are running a Windows OS is under Programs/Accessories/System tools) That program will scan your harddrive and bring up a list of areas of where you have files that are no longer needed.(example: Temporary Internet files) You just check the boxes of the areas you want the program to clean out and hit ok.
It would also be a good idea to go through your files and delete any you no longer use(like Word files, pic files, etc). Recently I went through all my pic files and deleted all the duplicates I had...got 18 more MB out of that....
Uninstalling programs you no longer use will help to. (be sure to uninstall them correctlyl...otherwise you can seriously f*ck up your computer)
For 'better' or 'faster' memory...friad the only way is to add more RAM to it and/or get a faster processor. That costs moola and the knowhow to install them.

Edit: forgot something. After you wipe out all the files you no longer need...running the 'Defragmentor' utility will help. It's located in the same area as the 'Disk Clean up'.

My computer got way, oh so slow just a cupple of many weeks ago. I tried unisnstalling stuff. Just gave me space but not spead. I even tried a Diskfrag. Dident work. (got to 13%, but hung up sence i "acsedently" removed a quite important dll file.) I just reinstalled my compute. Now its running like a angel. Just remember to do backups of EVERYTHING you want to ceep. You might think, naa, I hardly use this anymore. THen after the reinstall. "Doh! I really need that now!!"
