ODDBODD, I understand your irritation and frustration with the rampant commercialism -- I hate that almost every baseball park now carries the name of some corporate sponsor, but it seem a bit hard to avoid in this day and age. Every movie has products in it -- not by accident, but by the manufacturers paying up. That's how ET got to eat Reese's Pieces instead of M & M's. Virtually every computer used in movies is an Apple of some kind -- not by accident.
I fell in love with Abe and his universe and forgave the game designers their outrageously crap save-game scheme that forced you to play parts that you had mastered over and over to get to the parts you were having trouble with. I know from your posts and your web site that you love Oddworld. It's only my opinion, of course, but I think that you should forgive them and give them the benefit of the doubt that they needed a cash infusion to keep the Oddworld series going (even though I'm not going to get to play MO unless I win an X-Box in a contest.)
