Sad MO on other systems?

Hello there...
Doez anyone out there know if Munch's Oddysee is going to be released on other systems in the future? I was thinking about getting a PS2, but now I'm having second thoughts. Please give me advice on what the heck I should do.

(P.S.- I'm sorry if you people have already answered this question a million times- I really don't know cuz I'm new.)

It's on Xbox exclusive and don't say the xbox is too expensive it's the same price as the PS2

Question

I've heard that they will eventually release it on PC. Is this true?

Um, in a word, NO.

In a few more words, OWI made a 4 game agreement with Microsoft, so the next 3 games will be X-box exclusives as well.

Not meaning to be offensive to you, Mac, but how many times do we need to answer this question?...

Once for each new person coming here looking for information about Oddworld games is reasonable. How are they supposed to know unless they ask -- extensive research?

The least we can do is share our knowledge -- without an attitude -- with those who seek it. What I find irritating is that when this question gets asked, the people who are most irritated by it are the first to jump all over it. In my opinion that doesn't cast us in a very good light. Those who find such questions irritating -- and you are not alone -- should ignore the posts. Someone who is not irritated about it and has the same knowledge will eventually answer it.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I'm ranting. It's just my first instinct when going to a new board is to search previous posts for answers to my questions and then ask them if they haven't already been answered, although I know this isn't necessarily a common practice for newbies to boards in general.

Next time, I'll either be more courteous or bite my tongue

Yu know what. have no clue if it's gonna be reliesed on PC(or mac)...but the Xbox is cunstructed by Microsoft, and its just a cumputer without windows in a chell... so I dont see whats ceeping them from making Xbox games to PC, sence it would be extreemly easy... (just resign the key settings to keyboard and change DLL files and presto!

I don't know, an oddworld game could end up on another platform sooner than many people think, cause the xbox price dropped 40% in europe, and is not doing so well in Japan. And its only been out a month and a half. Hmmm, Sounds like Dreamcast to me..anyway I agree with Doug with about "how many times do we need to answer this question?... I guess until everybody who's a fan of oddworld knows.

Microsoft is very wealthy and all the games will be 99% likely to stay on this x-box. X-box basically is a pc..........Knowing microsoft they would never give it up, they might steal someone elses rights though........

Happy Thanks

Thanks for the info, everyone! Sorry if I annoyed you, It's just that I've talked to a few people who strongly believe that there will be a version on PC. Just wanted to know if they were telling the truth or just making something up. Thanks again!

Well it is possible that they will make it for the pc but somehow if this happens it will still be by microsoft, I highly doubt this possibility though, but I do not think it would be a bad thing besides controlling pc games have the best sound and graphics, so this might even improve the quality of the game, and possible boost the selling, because it would then be for x-box and a computer.......
