Wired Movies that remind you a little about Oddworld!

For some strange reason the Matrix reminds me a little bit about Oddworld. Probablly because of those huge Sentinals that are firtilizing the humans. That reminds me of Magog technology.

Another movie is Alien because of the face huggers. They remind me of paramites or sligs. And Mystery Men. Because of that one character whos power is passing gas. That reminds me so much of Abe. His voice even sounds similar. I think Pewee Herman plays him. Mann I can't stand that person. He is perverted and needs to seek some help! What movies remind you of Oddworld?

Tremors 2 definatly. All the others...no. I have never seen the Dark Crystal, so i cant comment. But if your seeing games in movies...you need to get out more.

DARK CRYSTAL RULLEZZZ!
Like those bird/dragons use those dwarves for their life-NRG, The Gluks use mud's as slaves.

I saw it when I was 9 yrs old, and I fell in love with that girl elf, dunno what her name was...

Here's my 2 cents
Tremors 2, Dark Crystal, Alien, for the aforementioned reasons.

The Star Wars movies..all those alien races..

Evolution- some of those creatures had face fingers..There was one creature that looked so much like a paramite, I backed up the tape for another look..

The Time Machine- the windmills and the Eloi village..And the morlock's underground habitat reminded me of Rupturefarms...

Disney's Atlantis- could be those huge caverns with ruins in them remind me of the paramite temple. Also the big masks worn by the Atlanteans made me think of Bigface.

Sorry I don't have pictures of Tremers, but I do have pics of "The Dark Crystal"

Notice Kira holding a creature that looks similar to a fuzzle!

Doesn't quite look like a Glukkon but just as mean, when dealing with slavery.

wanna be Fuzzle showing its true colors

I'll try to track down some Tremors images....

star wars episode 1 reminds me of munch, because they had sooo much hype about them, and were good but not spectacular Star wars also reminds of of oddworld because Episode 2 is meant to be the one that delievers sort of like ME. i hope they both deliver!

Has anyone seen Tremors 3 yet? That one is so cool. The Graboids go from worms as we know to shriekers the slog looking creatures and then they turn into something called A** Blasters There basically the slog type but with wings. They build up energy in their A** and then blast off into the sky. It so Oddworld like. Burk is the main character in that one. My favorite Tremors is the first one and the third one. They remind me of Oddworld too.

Ive never seen tremors 3, but the graboids in part 2 DEFINANTLY looked like slogs. I remember the Dark Crystal a little bit, but I didnt see to many similarities between it and Oddworld (i havent seen it in a while. I remember thinking it was a Never Ending Story Rip-off though.) Aliens...I dont see too many similarites with those face-huggers and such. I guess, for all you swartzanegger fans, Total Recall had a bit of Oddworld in it because at the very end, Arnold puts his hand on a handprint that looks JUST LIKE Abe's from AO!

Enemy mine- (Movie) reminds me of oddworld, because of the forced labor, and alien planet, / terrible treatment.

Citizen Kane. All movies remind me of Citizen Kane, in some way, probably just because I'd rather be watching my most beloved film.

Now that I think about it, the Glukkons are heartless capitalists, and so was Charles Kane. He paid for it in the end, as most Glukkons seemingly do.

There was a Tremors 2? I just remember seeing the terrible original on USA one lazy Sunday while clipping my fingernails. Right before it was that that movie where all the machines go insane and start hunting down humans, I think it was called Maximum Overdrive, but don't quote me.
