Drunk What The?

I found it so stupid in MO when Lulu had to be made rich.

You did the same thing again and again and again (keeps going for two hours) did ne1 find this boring after a while?

My percentage chart:

MUDOKON AREA: 1% of game
FUZZLE TESTING: 2% of game
RETURN TO RAISIN: 15% of game
LULU FUND RAISING: 62% of game
VYKKERS LABS: 20% of game

Well... this is what it felt like to me! Ne thoughts?

Actually thats my favorite part in the game. You visit the actual factories. You start small in the meep herder village and end in the vast factory of Flub Fuels then go to Vykkers labs. Flub Fuels and Splinters are my favorite places because they resemble AO and AE to me in some ways. mostly because they are huge places. But that part of the game, making Lulu rich is my favorite part.

i didnt lik ruinin the gluks so much becuz after a while (mostly Splinterz) u think ur done and theres lik 5 mor Exeuctive Chairmen... it also is pretty dumb considering abe goes through 2 missions to shut down 2 places and that takes as long as him shuttin down about ten differant factories... i guess i cudd say the plot needed a lil work, it kept changin from find munch, put gluks outta bizness and get the gabbiar... i like the parts where u need to find Munch and Return to Raisin

In AE it was the same principe: you must posses glukkons (Aslik, Dripik, Phleg) to open doors...

The all chalenge was to posses the glukkons, like now! and I love it

Thank god someone sees where I'm comin' from!

What I mean is... it's fun and all, but couldn't they have made more of a story and put more thought into the levels? I mean, ruining glukkons like 15 times in a row starts to take effect!

OWI needs to get their act back together! I thought they were planning this game for ages, yet they cut half of the good ideas out. I don't understand it.

Thank you! I know what you mean. It was fun to start with and then gets progrssively less interesting. Gluk after gluk at that damn Lulu fund vendo! After two and a half years the game could've used more of the ideas it previously had going for it and because OWI screwed that prat up, they're keeping their traps shut about anything to do with ME. They won't even show us what Squeek looks like! Just so they are free to change their minds without criticism again. Ah well.

It was more involved in the PS2 version because you had to not only submit to the Lulu fund you had to save mud flubs, nurture meetles back to health and of coarse save scrubs and Fuzzels. Was there any more tasks you had to do in the PLS2 version of Munch? Or did I get them all? Also I think in the PLS2 version you were suppose to be Abe and Munch for like half of the game. Then you split apart and your just Munch finnishing the rest of the game. I think I read that, way before the game came out. Like almost a year and a half ago. Oh well! Maybe M.E will have that plot line we all want.

Actually, Abe would be the only controllable character for the first third of the game. The Munch would get his leg healed (it got broken), and would no longer need pushing around in a wheelchair. The middle third of the game would be all about Lulu, except you actually controlled Lulu and got all the money yourself.

And of course, originally there were Skeeters and Octigi in Munch's Oddysee, not to mention Scoots, Skrikits, Kintos and of course Sam.

That would of been a nice atmosphere effect... Skrikits hopping away as you amble through the grass. Scoots splashing about as you swim through the water... scoots are fish, right?

... I still miss the sea rex. I would of enjoyed swimming for my dear life from that monster...

Yes, Skrikits are basically green cockroaches, and Scoots (you might recognise the name Worry Fish) are squid-like fish.

Well done Paramite Pie - you repeated the topic's title in its 12th post. But yeah, there's a lot of creatures on Oddworld that OWI haven't put into any games. Just do a search for 'kinto', 'skeeter', 'stang' or the like, and you'll eventually come up with the answers.

I admit there where gonna be alot of cool optoins that got taken out of Munchs Oddysee, one of the examples I heard was...Lulus boss wants him to heard the Scrabs into the meat grinder, but as you do this you see a pack of Sligs near by. After you grind up the Scrabs you can then take the Sligs and put them into the meat grinder. After this is done then Lulu would have gotten a promotion for retreving extra meat and some mechinery (to sell). Thats what I really looked forward to but Im still not fully diopointed with the final product, we gotta remember that OWI switched their game code three different times and some of the stuff just didn't fit with the Xbox code, also they had a tight dead line and they where marketing to a whole different audiance. But restassured the next game will have all we want and more.

True said Oddsville. True lots of things were scraped but remember each Oddysee has an Exoddus for us. Most stuff scraped should be in the next game if we pray. Also there will be weather and night time areas.
