Idea The VeriChip

I was reading a recent news magazine when I came across an interesting story. It was a two page article on a new devise that could revolutionize health care. The device is called VeriChip which is implanted into a persons shoulder by a shot, the chip is only about half a centermeter. It tells doctors your condition etc. when you have been in an accident and are unable to speak. This will alow doctors to start helping patients a lot faster. The VeriChip was invented by a fourteen year old boy genius, which is quite extraordinary. Him and his parents were the first subjects to have the chip implanted into them. I'm sure we will here more on this in a few months.

Although this is generaly a good thing, I found the article a little creepy that we are already begaining to turn people into cyborgs(part human, part machine). I hope that this does not get out of hand.

What are your thoughts on this devise??

What's wrong with being a Cyborg? I for one can't wait for the invention of a Neural Lace... I think this is a wonderful idea. The next logical step is little Nanites to actually go around and fix your problems without having to contact the doctor...
