What platform(system)will Munch's exdous be on PC i got and XBOX i got.

Xbox exclusively is the general lingo for ME. I don't think PC will see it for dust. Stick with the Xbox. Games for PC are becoming more and more common now.

I think oddworld is alredy doomed because the x-box is going to fail and loose the new generation console war.

Mann what are you talking about! X-Box rules with no comparison. Munch's Exoddus is going to be X-Box exclusive. Same goes for Squeeks Oddyssey and Squeeks Exoddus.

Xbox is I think much better then the NCG
So the newt generation will be Xbox and PS...

yeah your right XAVIER xbox is sooooooooooooo much better then GAME CUBE but alot of stupid fans like it. But i hope XBOX wins and plus game cube has kiddy games.

Remember a console's "Worldwide Sales" and the "Games" is what determines who is the best console, not how powerful and expensive you can make your system. I just hope Munch's Exoddus is more like the game OWI describe Munch's Oddysee as being, before it switched to xbox. I liked the old logo better as well

The problem with consol games are that there are no patches! PC games you can patch every now and then, to get rid of the glitches...make it faster... The computers are getting faster and faster, so the x-box will soon be outdated and SLOW.

Q: Why did you choose to develop for Xbox rather than PlayStation2?

LL: We were on PS2 originally and we were just very dissatisfied with the structural architecture and the final image quality. And, we had hoped that it would have been something that we didn't end up see it being. That doesn't mean that we didn't think that great games wouldn't be created on PS2, it just meant that we didn't want to build them there because we saw the capacity of the machine would max out sooner than what we wanted to achieve in a 128-bit era.

Microsoft talked to us early and said, "What if we make a games machine and if you had a choice of how you want a games machine to work?" We wanted more memory, cleaner structure, cleaner data flow, DVD... a single graphics chip. And so Microsoft went away and we continued working and then it came back and said that it was going to build this thing and call it Xbox. So it was a very easy switch when you look from a games development perspective because you ask yourself what system would you be supporting and building technology for the next five years. And the way Microsoft was pushing Xbox was that it was really going to have fun in pushing and utilising the capacity of the machine in the next five years.

Q: So will you be continuing to develop for Xbox exclusively?

LL: Yeah, we have a four title first party exclusive deal with Xbox and Microsoft. They'll also be within the Oddworld universe but that doesn't mean that they'll be about Munch etc. It's a little too soon to talk about those titles right now, but we're planning on rebuilding a whole fresh engine that optimises Xbox. I think Munch's Odyssey only uses about 50 per cent of what's on Xbox, and image quality we maybe tapped about 20 per cent of what's there.

my view is:

PC=good old reliable games.

Xbox=super games with better graphics.

wasn't munch supposed to appear in Abe's Exodus. I don't remember seeing him but i do remember an interview with Lorne saying Munch can be seen in Abes second adventure.

well originaly Munch's oddysee was intended to be Abe's second adventure...

AE is a bonus game not planned in the beggining
