i was just reading the oddworld site on vykkers, they talk about them being one of the most powerfull families on oddworld. this could mean that there is no species on oddworld per se, rather that the races are families that compete with each other. so this could mean that there is no goverment on oddworld but rather a system of ruling familys each led by a queen or in vykkers case a head scientist. this would imply that oddworld would be run on a semi-feudal system, and all the consumerz are other families, and lower class familys. this would be cool since i never liked the idead of having a goverment.

I think I heard something like the Magog Cartel is like the mob seperated in familys so that makes perfect sense.

I noticed that on the Vykkers page too. I reckon it's feasible. I mean, it would make sense that Vykkers would work with Vykkers and Gluks with Gluks, Chroniclers with Chroniclers etc. You'd have to be real low to stab your fellow race in the back. A governmental system would be tough to simulate.
