here to see the website I made about them). The stuff in white is 'real' information that I culled from the Fusion site and the game instruction manuals. The blue bits are entirely my own creation.

Pierre Belmondo born.
4th May 2018
The existence of anti-gravity technology confirmed by Dr. Fraser
and Dr. Williams of the World Technology Symposium.
2024
Pierre Belmondo becomes Director of the Foundation for European AG Research.
The other candidate, Dr. Anna Ghislaine Williams is extremely cheesed off, and accuses Belmondo of stealing her ideas. As there is no proof she vows to find a better alternative to Anti-Gravity technology to thwart Belmondo.
25th November 2024
Governments and Symposium scoff at proposals to use anti-gravity transport commercially, shortly after they increase fuel tax.
26th November 2024
Chuck Hoffman and Pierre Belmondo agree to reject Symposium's proposals and continue research.
6th August 2029
Dr. Williams sets up her research company, AG Industries (using her first two initials in the name) until someone points out that it's the same name as her rival's. She renames it Hyena W Industries. The W is from her own name, and 'Hyena' was chosen for the animal's sheer determination.
22nd October 2034
The US government demands an enquiry into the unauthorised spending of public money on AG research.
Hyena W Ind. consequently unaffected.
15th April 2035
The prototype AG ship Nx1000 revealed in the Nevada desert to the government. The media loves it, and condemns the government for their initial opposition.
Hyena W Industries attempts to wow the crowds with its prototype craft powered by harnessing the Earth's magnetic fields, but nobody is really impressed, especially as everything conductive within a kilometre radius sticks to it, including people's braces and bra hooks.
April 2035
Pierre Belmondo: "Gravity is the glue which binds us to our planet. We are about to apply the solvent which will free our species forever."
30th May 2035
The US government drops fuel taxes. Other governments shortly follow suit.
August 2036
Hyena W Ind. comes up with an engine powered by sugar and water. In the event of fire, instead of exploding the fuel instantly turns into jolly nice toffee. Rather than true Anti-Gravity, the engine and the craft which contains it manage to hover due to forcefields generated by the friction between air particles below the craft. The friction is induced using a flywheel made of carbon fibres which are 4 times as strong and a quarter of the mass of steel. Tate & Lyle agree to sponsor Hyena W Ind.
September 2036
Hyena W Ind. Featured in Tate & Lyle adverts. No public interest; people believe AG technology to be the way forward.
2nd February 2038
Symposium collapses,
to Hyena W Industries' dismay. AG scientists become key players in developing a transport system to solve all the world's problems.

Team AG Systems moves from Europe to Japan.
2044
Pierre Belmondo sets up the F3600 AG Racing Commision. Dirk Breakwater made CEO.
8th June 2044
AG publicity increases.
Dr. Williams admits defeat and Hyena W Ind. becomes an AG company, but they still use sugar and water to fuel their craft. They design a new race vehicle to hopefully compete against AG Systems and the newly-announced Feisar, Qirex and Auricom. It is named the PseudoHawk.
June 2050
Dirk Breakwater, CEO of the F3600 Race League Commision introduces the official programme of the first F3600 championships.
Hyena W Ind's craft is not accepted. AG racing becomes the world's biggest sport.
2062
Dirk Breakwater dies. Is succeeded by Chuck Hoffman.
2080
Chuck Hoffman murdered. Belmondo becomes CEO of the Race Commision, but cancels the 2080 games out of respect for Hoffman.
2081
Gare D'Europa reclaimed from the criminal underworld and turned into an AG race venue.
2082-84
Valparaiso built to much protest from tree-hugging hippies.
2084
Dr. Williams snuffs it, leaving the company to Martha Beckwith, one of the other members of Hyena W Industries. Williams' head is cryonically suspended.
2085
Race Commision upgraded to F5000. Weapons are developed that can destroy other AG racers' ships. Pilot deaths increase as a result. Belmondo publishes his autobiography, 'Leaving the Earth Behind'.
Dr. Williams' biography, written by an anonymous fan is also published. It sells far better than Belmondo's at first, but only because people find the atrocious spelling overlooked by the editors so amusing. Dr. Beckwith does her best to get Hyena W entered in the next games, but to no avail.

F5000 upgrades to F7200. The next games are to take place in a single city.

Amara Beshir, President of Assegai Developments, introduces his new team.
15th March 2116
Gianpietro Tassotti, Icaras Senior Systems Technician, does likewise.
16th March 2116
The new Venator craft from Hyena W Industries is announced. It is withdrawn on F7200's orders. Dr. Beckwith suitably enraged.
19th March 2116
Mayor Randolph Mullion of Mega City introduces the F7200 Race League.

'Finders Keepers' Law passed.
8th June 2127
Natasha, Pierre Belmondo's great great granddaughter born. He visits her, then kicks the bucket; not necessarily as a consequence of this.

Goteki 45's island base destroyed by unknown bombers.
Rumours say it was Hyena W, with whose racing philosophies Goteki supposedly were the opposite.

Tigron acquire Qirex. Good.
Hyena W not bought out because no-one wants them.

The Race Commision is 100 years old. It announces major changes to the sport.

Venues submitted and shortlisted.

Venue shortlist announced to much hype. Shortlist candidates given 18 months to persuade the Race Commision to choose them. The most violent and corrupt campaign in history begins.

Venues announced. Contruction begins.

Race Comission upgrades to F9000. Natasha Belmondo proves worthy of becoming a contender, and joins Auricom.

Hyena W Industries finally given license to compete, and eagerly await the next games. Dr. Beckwith steps down as CEO in favour of Dr. Williams' only living descendant; Anna Ghislaine Baskin III. Ginty Dulain is chosen as head pilot, with Ingrid Rowe and Jean-Maurice Magritte as her second and third. Soderstrom and Minsawki say they don't stand a chance.

Dr.Williams' head in a jar is found washed up on a beach, and is resurrected. Uh oh...
