idea for munch's exodus (beware, long)

In MO, there was a complete lack of secret areas pretty much. well ive kinda thought of a way to earn stuff in it. Heres just kinda an example. Like in the first sloghut, 1027 i think, there are the sligs all around on the penned in areas below. You can kill them, by means of possesion, and get rid of them. But theres like passageways behind them. The way im going is like have a place to go through there and do a side-scrolling level type place based off of areas from AO and AE. For instance, like the sloghut mentioned above might be like a side-scrolling sligs barracks area. You get to the end, earn something like bullet proof ability. Heres another example type thing: In Mudakon Fortress, there is the little tent area inside. Maybe like after the ending portals are activated a door into it opens up. Theres a telepoter there, which takwes you to a forest type background, i dont know, like a donkey kongish background in a mud village under siege by the cartel. (BTW, like all of these would be side-scrollerish type areas, like AO and AE) After you rid them of like the slig squad desginated to clear the area,your rewarded with like a tmahawker club or a spoocebow. For munch a secret area could be like for in Vykkers Labs there could be a secret passageway from an empty slog house. The bonus would be in like an under water sewer type place where you have to get passed mines and other mutant creatures. The reward could be like a full countdown on all vendos. Of course these are just ideas of what the areas could've been like in MO. Since the places in ME would be different, the areas would be different. If you dont get the drift on how to enter the places, Ill just give another post with more. The one catch, besides the difficulty to find these, is that you only get to use what you've earned AFTER you beat the game, in a way you dont get to play the first time through suing cheapo things. If you have any comments, ideas or suggestions please tell. And critisism is welcome, and boy im just gonna end this now cause it must be tiring.

All I can say is that I would like to see a completely Munch only level. In MO the last level is all about Abe, no Munch. It fits to the story but it's Munch's Oddysee, not Abe's. So I hope there'll be a Munch only level or two, on land and in water, completely possession free to put the focus more on Munch. I hope this happens for Squeek in SO too. New powerups like a super zap vendo that shoots heaps of lightning bolts like Abe's Shrykull and maybe a glowing headport powerup to light up dark areas underwater or an area map generated from Munch's sonar like in Ecco the dolphin. A Gabbiwog rescue level would be likely as well as a new specie. Hopefully we'll meet Skillya, but I reckon we won't be seeing Sam until much later in the Quintology, as Abe has to have some motive to keep on doing good for another three parts of the series.

hm, those are very interesting ideas. the munch ideas are great.

Hey, Abe is cool. I have nothing against him, but his Oddysee and Exoddus are over and he is now a minor character in games that star other major characters. But he'll always have flare and (more than likely) the most useful powers(which just keep getting better with that chant), so he should remain the most influential hero, but OWI should compromise to allow space for others to be siginificant heroes too. That's all.
