Pyke

This RPG, for the Newbies, is set in the village of Pyke. This is a Native Mudokon Village, near to the Great Forest, so south of the Major Magog Cartel Industrial places. The surrounding countryside is mostly Forest to the South, but there is a wide open stretch of Grassland stretching out to the Horizon to the North.

Pyke is a Medium-sized village; mostly houses, with a community, so money isn't used much here, as people share produce and luxuries. Any money belonging to the villagers is sort of pooled together, so that whenever any villagers travel to other places, they can just take what they need. The Community is quite closely-knit, but newcomers generally find it quite easy to fit in, especially if they have skills that are useful to the village. Even some Sligs who have deserted the Cartel now live in Pyke, having been accepted by the villagers.

There are certain Pykian Characters that are not controlled by any particular player, but are used as and when players need someone to react to. These include:
The Mayor, Cho'yo
Jagger, a Large Tough Mudokon, specialising in Weaponry
Olm, the Village Surgeon
If you need anyone else, don't hesitate to make them up.

To Introduce your Character, you can either post an Introduction here, where your character appears in Pyke, or post a separate topic. What your character does is up to you. If you post a separate topic, they don't even need to be anywhere near Pyke yet, if you don't want them to be.

I get the feeling that Oryon and Dragadon will be the first to post, so just copy them...

Can I be in control of Jagger as an NPC. I will not make any money on the character, I just wanna use him in my storyline, so me controling him is easier.

*sigh* i DO wish you'd read these posts properly before replying, D. if you'd read, i said ANYONE can control Jagger, so of course you can. that's what NPCs are for; they're for anyone to use.

but you're right, i should add a little thing to the rules: if an NPC is involved in someone's plotline, other players should try to minimise their use of it, and try to keep what they do in line with where the other player is taking them.
