i have nothing against oddworld inhabitants or munch's oddysee but the fact that there only putting MO on Xbox is crap most people arn't gonna by the Xbox for one game. come on in canada there asking $500! for the frigin thing then ya gotta by a seprate piece witch costs $50! the games are gonna cost $70-$90...witch if you ask me is a little bit much for a game. but like always none of you are gonna listen to me about are pathetic the Xbox is so i'm gonna shut up now.

stop winging...i'm not buying it for one game...i'm buying it for loads of games
eg. MO, DoA3, Jet Set Radio Future, Malice, etc...

the Xbox is easier to program than the PS2 which will makes the games better because the programmers can spend more time on making the game better than making the game in the 1st place

it is superior to the PS2 in every way exept on vertex shaders...

and it will have several more games on US launch than the GameCube had on it's Jap launch!!!

if you don't like the Xbox, don't get one

why does SS [and now apparrently you] assume that just because someone can't afford an Xbox that they don't like it? we'd all buy one if we could afford it, but the fact is, it's too expensive. that doesn't mean we think the ps2 and the gamecube are better, it just means we don't have enought money. got it? clear now?

Actually, the xbox costs $300 over here in America. And yes, I do think that the ps2 is better. I used to think that xbox was better because it was easier to program for and better graphics and junk, but that's not true. Being easier to program for doesn't make the games better. Ps2 is getting aconstant flow of outstanding games, and I'm happy just supporting ps2 with my money right now. Sure, Xbox is getting Silent Hill 2x, Metal Gear Solid 2x, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x, but ps2 HAS Silent Hill 2, HAS Tony Hawk 1, 2, and 3 (well, Playstation has 1 and 2, but you get my point), and is getting Metal Gear Solid 2 in a little over a week. I've been playing GTA3 for the past couple of weeks, and I am only 14% through the game! I've played it for 22 hours and 15 minutes! I only have one ending complete in Silent Hill 2, and will begin a new game soon. I still haven't beaten Devil May Cry (I was near the end of it when I bought GTA3) and I am getting MGS2 in a week. I'm a happy gamer right now, and I think I can do without MO and Halo (the only two games I want for xbox). DOA3 will more than likely be coming to ps2 sometime in the next year, so I'll get that when it comes out.

I for one don't think xbox is crap at all, the only time I did though was way,way back even before Oddworld Inhabitants switched to it. Now I like xbox better than ever, with a built in HardDrive (that means you don't have to go and buy a memory card!),DVD capabilaties, and numorus other features I think its pretty good...infact its probably equal to the PS2.

Extra wide HDTV's,5.1 Dolby surround sound, extra cushy black leather recliners and the XBOX. With games ( More than one there Sparky )

Project Gotham with your friends on two side by side HDTV's and Xbox's, playing deep real time races. Halo mutiplayer with your side by side configurations. DOA3, sure it "MIGHT" come out on PS2 next year, but then DOA4 will be out on XBOX. And we all know XBOX has the juice over PS2 when head to head. Hey I like PS2, it's cool, but it's not XBOX, my two cents there. Fusion frenzy is the most fun of them all for group gatherings.

Don't forget about Shrek, Azurik, both games offer 200 hours combined in gameplay. I'played ICO, Soul reaver 2, SH2, DMC all on PS2 in 45 hours total.Sorry but where's the beef. The games were fine, but as the world's greatest rentals. I mean money is not a real issue with me ( Sorry Rettick, but true), But still I rented them for $20 and totally enjoyed them for 20 days. If I had bought them I would have spent over $215. XBOX is showing more longevity already and depth, just a fact, not trying to put PS2 down, just calling it like I see it.I still dig Ps2.

Halo is a gem, it is the best action game one could ever ask for.I have written a report on my thoughts for Lampion in another topic.

And then there's Munch.And Oddworld's next games, there are many more than one game, stop fooling yourself if you are thinking there really is just one game, common now.

As for 2002 alone, now that's not counting the years to follow in great games for the XBOX I can say with all honesty 20 games will be as good or better than anything we have played to date.

Examples: Heavens Beast, 24 Automatons, BC, Project Ego, Panzer Dragoon X, Duality, Strident, Enclave, Brute Force,Malice, Orchid, Swat, Gun Valkerie, all the best sports games too will be on the BOX due to it's power, Kehl, Matrix, Rayman 3, Knights, Night of the Dragonfly, (MGS2 X,SH2 X both will be coming in directors cut versions), project Nomad, Unholy,Yager, Breed, and more that I know of but, but you can count on these, I have seen them all in pretty good detail already, and even in un-finished versions they sparkle.

So enough with talk of the only one or two games people, know more of what you talk of before jumping in and stating ridiculous statements.

I hope you all will get an XBOX some time soon, because it will be a great and fun machine.That's the bottomline. Try and have all the machines if possible, but try your damndest to get a BOX, otherwise you are selling your good times short.

I'll be testing Munch Monday, I will play only an hour, I want to start to play all out on November 15th with the few here whom will actually be playing then too, it will be fun to compare notes.

I mean you can cut the tension around here with a knife when it comes to XBOX talk, I mean that is along with Munch the essence of why we are here, is it not, sure freindship and all else is fine, but the heart and soul of this place is Munch, and I for one will be a true and loyal fan and be hopping and jumping with Abe and Munch real real soon now.

Bottomline is life "IS Better " with Munch and XBOX. No reason to argue about it. Anyone knows that, I hope, for there sakes.

Everyone's been talking Munch here forever now, and now that it is here it seems that when someone talks about it in a positive and fun way there are always those few that will not get one mostly it appears for finacial reasons that want to spoil the fun out of sheer jealousy. Trust me that is what it is.

Hey everyone it's here, there is less excitement and positivity here now then ever before, when there should be tons of it.This place for the most part has become a downer for me. I got too much going in a positive way to be brought down here, just love all the systems, the XBOX, PS2 and Gamecube, you will all be better off.

im so glad im getting a BOX. november 15 is the day for me. the holy day. but i hope to get all three systems. see, i entered this poetry contest type thing and i have a good chance at winning 10K big ones. with that money, ill get and HDTV, surround sound, and the other two systems. let the good times roll!
