Well, I've seen aliens and I believe been abducted by them...and there was the story about my old computer being haunted. People here may remember them...

But, no, I've never seen a ghost. 'Eard 'im, though.

Sigh, it's difficult being a paranormal investigator when you're scared snotless by it all.

I don't know. I don't believe people's spirit's coming back from the grave. I believe that they are demons.

you know pinky, i was just waiting for you to drag religion into this. he didn't ask if you believed, he asked if you've ever seen any, or had any experiences you'd like to share.
do try to work on your reading comprehension.

Actually, usually a lot of religous people don't believe in ghosts. They believe like Pinky said that they are demons or that it's all in the imagination.

As some of you know though I'm Christian, and I do believe in ghosts. But I don't believe that they are demons or anything like that. There are good and bad spirits.

Although I have never seen a ghost before I know people who have, or have been able to sense a presence (whether that be good or bad, yes there is a difference).

I think there is something out there though... there is a lot that is not explained in this world. I recently found out a lot about ghosts and spirits from a very close friend of mine, but I won't go into any detail.

I've had one 'ghost' related experience, but i'm not sure if i want to share it. I don't feel like being mocked today.

You were waiting for an excuse to attack Pinkhaired? Other people expressed their disbelief in ghosts, so why single out Pinky? An easy target, perhaps. It's best if we don't create arguments where they can be avoided.

Back on topic. I've had a few experiences, but none that couldn't be explained via natural means. We have a cold spot in our house that I hate having to pass through while it's dark, it feels very creepy.

You tell him Sydney! *sticks tongue at intern*

As I was saying, I believe that once your dead, that's it you can't go haunting people. Your spirit is either in Heaven or Hell. Because people's spirits and demons are different because satan and his demons are living. I'm not trying to force you to believe in what I believe, alrighty?

WE have like so called haunted houses in our neighboorhood but I don't think that they are reallt haunted. I think they are just teenage jerks who like to jump on people and try to scare somebody. LOL

Well, We christians all know that when a Spirit's Organic Form dies out, It can no longer handle the spirit within. So Depending on the spirit's experiences on the topics good or bad, such as Quarma, they go to heaven or hell. But most Good Christians with some bad sins go to a jail life of some sort (I forgot the name) to pay for their sins. And when you go ther, you're there for many years, untill your time comes to go to the great Heaven.

Syd, and pinky, you're right.
Pinky, i'm sorry for attacking you. I was REALLY out of line, and looking back on it, i totally regret it.
i'm just having a tough time at home right now, and i guess i took it out on you. not that what i said was justified..sorry.
forgive me?

This is a very interesting topic, indeed. And with every interesting topic, along comes Yachiro,to explain his ideas, although he's a newbie. On the religous matters..I believe that when you die,you simply shut down,no more.Kind of like Rupture farms. Also on the ghost subject, some people make stuff up for attention. Most usually don't.But also,a percentage of those not lying could have, sadly, problems of their own.Or,they're just highly interested in Paranormal activity.HOwEvEr,very easily,it could be true, like Munch being the last Gabbit until he captures his bretheren. Some things just can't be proven,ya know?

I was in my old house for five years since I had been born. My parents had always fought and were almost going to get a divorce, then we moved and they stopped fighting! Now they have occasional fights like normal parents do.

That would be kinda insane if you die and your no more. What would be the meaning of living then if you are not going anywhere in the after life?

Man, all of this stuff is kinda confusing, but I'll try to say what I sincerely think and not get all lutheran on yah. 99 times out of a hundred, the "ghosts" will just be imaginations or feeble grabs for notoriety, but that other 1 time really freezes the cockels of heart don't it. Now i'm not saying it isn't real or for that matter possible for some to make a visit from the other side, but I'm really put off by all that Trucker bullshit you read in The inquire " Man Swears to His Sweet Lord that He SAW The Ghost Of Elvis Eating a Jelly Donut and A Microwavable burrito in a Denny's. That kind of garbage is really keeping parapsychology on the backburner and making truthful people who saw the real mccoy into nothing but imbalanced old crackpots.

Pinky: He isn't talking about Indulgences. Indulgences is the Medeival practise of buying your way out of Heaven, which m101 didn't even refer to...

Dave: You're giving the Anti-Pinky Faction a bad name!

Steve: Ah, I see we have a Dirk Gently fan in our midst...

I have never seen ghosts, but I do believe that they exist. This may seem to be in opposition to my generally Scientific way of thinking about things, but I haven't seen any believeable evidence either way, so I choose to believe the option that I would prefer. I would prefer that ghosts do exist, so that is what I believe.

Poltergeists, on the other hand, do not exist. They are just latent Psychokinetic abilities that become out of control during difficult times of one's life (e.g. Adolescence). That's what I think, anyway...
