i have personally been using Homestead for years.
now if you want unlimited webspace you have to pay thirty bucks a year, which is what i do, but they also offer free hosting too.

you could always try geocities if your comfortable with html too.
homestead lets you use an html editor, and strict html on your site though.

is anglefire a free website creater? it says it is but i'm not sure...some websites have false information

Angelfire is a free website host/maker, but the thing i hate about them is that they have ads (like most free websites hosts/makers).

But i recently came across a Javascipt code while searching another forum im with that will disable all ads on angelfire pages, but the code must be placed in the HTML code on every page, and it does work! If you'd like the code i can PM it to you.

Disabling the Ad code in Angelfire sites and suchlike can result in your site being deleted. If you've spent as many hours on your iste as I know a lot of people have, that's the last thing you want. "Free" web hosting services still have to pay for themselves - hence they rely on banner ads/sponsors. I know they're annoying, but for Odd's sake, isn't that a small price to pay for having a free bit of the web to do what you like in...? If you're going to sign up with a free service at least have the decency to comply with their terms and conditions.

*agrees with Teal* As much as I hate pop ups (especially the new pops ups taht Angelfire has added *growls*) I wouldn't THINK of doing something like that...no no I have done too much work to just have my site deleted...
If ye want to lose the ads that bad...pay for the upgrade that doesn't have them...

I've been using http://www.freeservers.com but they have horrible big banners on top of your website...

If you don't mind what your website address is you can get a website that has no banners on sailormoon.com. It's e-mail and it has an option to have a website...

freeservers is nice but it costs $35 to register i was hoping to get a free site
