I seen this about a week ago... but never got around to posting about it.

It's pretty huge though... 45 MB, so only download it if you are a FF fan. It's well worth it though... it plays at almost full screen size and is very clear.
The preview movie was included w/ the release of FFX in Japan. The game style is very different to the previous FFs with one on one fighting rather than turn-based. You can even see a bunch of blood splurt out of a monster as he is killed, in the style of Diablo.
Unfortunately this FF will be online only... which is cool, but it will be a paid thing, so you can't like play w/ your friends, you have to pay to use the PlayOnline servers.
IMO, I think that this really shouldn't be called FFXI as it is different from the series... but should be called something like FF Online. In the same way that FF Tactics was a different type of game to the other FF games, then it was not given the usual numbering of titles.
I found some screenshots too... but I can't find them now, so when I find them I will post them also.
