WipEout Fusion Confusion?

Did you know that there is 2 WipEout Fusion games? The original was on the PSX and featured the best tracks from WipEout, WipEout 2997 and Wip3out. (3 from WipEout, 5 from WipEout 2997 and 7 from Wip3out) Does anyone (possibly Middlesboggie) know why they used the same title for 2 different games?

They didn't. The PSX game of which you speak (with all the best bits of the previous 3 WipEouts) was called WipEout 3: Special Edition.
I said in another post that W3SE should have been called Fusion, as it is an amalgam of its predecessors, and that the game known as WipEout Fusion should have been called WipEout Infinity or WipEout Extreme or something like that.
