from what I heard they are very picking about which fan art and fics they post. Why? I don't know.

to post an image you use the {img}{/img} tags, for instance...

{img}http://www.oddworldian.net/oddworldforums/ubb/fuzzleconf.gif{/img}

Just replace the {} brackets with []
