Yes, the evil demo that cost me Internet access (see the topic 'I'm handing in my notice').
Well, now I'm really upset. After over two hours of downloading, coasting who knows how much on the phone bill, I've discovered that it doesn't work. Well, yippidy-doo, I'm so pleased. I went to download DirectX 8, but that takes another hour. An hour!! I thought the Internet was getting faster - I recall earlier DirectX taking just a few minutes!!!
Well, with 30-odd MB, 2 hours, a lot of money and Internet access less than what I had earlier today, I'm not a happy bunny. I don't know why I'm saying this: I suppose in case somebody has averted the same problem and can offer help.
