Gabbit Juice on eBay (ends May 19)

Greetings. I am an active member of the AtariAge forums and I'm new here. From what I've read of the forum rules, promoting an Oddworld item for sale seems to be considered an appropriate post.

I'm selling the bottle of Sour Watermelon Gabbit Juice I picked up 10 years ago. I think people around here already know what this is, but in case not, these bottles of liquid candy were made to promote Munch's Oddysee.

I wish I knew about oddworld back then. I first played AO in 2005 so I don't have anything like this. Makes me wish I had a time machine.

I'm lucky :P First played AO on the DEMO 1 disc that came with my Playstation :P

But still it's anoying I don't have one of those tubes.

I played that same demo in 2006, a year after I got my PS1, the disk came with everything my awesome Uncle gave me included AO.

Ah, see I started Oddworld in 2005 and have been playing it since, thing is my parents were pretty damn scared of anything technological that wasn't a calculator for me so it was until I was 10 that I got me a game console.

Oh my god I remember that disk. I used to have tons of them. I was also so very confused as to why abe died on the way out of rupture farms, that was until I got the game

I didn't want to get the game until I figured out how you pass that screen in the Stockyards. It never dawned on me it was impossible. In the end I thought ahhh I'll get the game anyway and then I got really confused when I got to the same screen in the Stockyards. Only then it dawned on me that they made that screen in the Stockyards impossible.

Anyway i have the misfortune ofliving in denmark. So no merchandise for me or anything

I also got really mad when I found out that I couldn't pre-order Stranger's wrath and receive the bonus disk. And I got mad when I found out that perfect ending in AO didn't give me the shrink movie. Made me curse OWI for a while <.<

But at least I received a few oddworld post cards from the fan-club

But I think some of them got ruined a bit when I moved

Ah... I just have no luck with oddworld merchandise.

I understand your disappointment. The only location options eBay gave me were United States or worldwide. I once sent something to a certain country in Eastern Europe and as far as I know it never arrived. Naturally I was reluctant to choose worldwide after that experience. I would have opened the auction to specific countries if eBay had allowed it.

Part of me thinks that when Munch HD is released, they'll produce more Gabbit Juice to promote it at conventions. Probably not. All the same, I wouldn't feel right spending 5-10 dollars on expired candy when I may one day get it for considerably cheaper.
