What about the golden Meep?

So Hi!

I was just digging around in Munch's Oddysee's files (Oddbox PC version) and I came across a Golden Meep, I don't recall that it belongs to any part of the story or ready anything about it at all, so is there anything known about it or is it an easter egg or something we've never found?

So any theories on how to get it? (If it's even in game ) I like easter egg hunts so I don't want anyone to go and look into code how it is activated, my best bet would be to do something special on the Meep Herding level...

I dunno, these sorts of things (EDIT: by which I mean easter eggs unlockable in-game) are usually discovered fairly quickly.

I reckon it's just an unused model that was left in.

yeah I guess you are right I just hoped it was something we've never discovered before and maybe someone (OWI?) dropped a hint about a long time ago... I love easter egg hunts haha

Perhaps it was an early idea to show which particular Meep you were supposed to track down. Or you know like a lock visual feedback, it highlights the Meep you are going to pick up.

That actually makes perfect sense, I just played the Meep Herder level again and it is really time consuming and hard haha
