Black Mesa (the fan-made Half-Life 1 remake) is apparently nearly done according to
an article, with a few tweaks needed. I'm hoping it'll finally be released this year.
I'm looking forward to the Oddworld re-releases, of course. And Portal 2. And perhaps the Beyond Good and Evil HD remake (though I don't see the point of that - It looks slightly shinier than the original but that's about it! Gief sequel plx!).
However, while it's nice to see four of my most treasured classic games getting new and well-deserved leases of life (and all perhaps in the same year), I find it a little sad that it's mostly HD re-releases that I'm looking forward to, rather than original games. Is it me or is the gaming industry on a lull this year?
