How much has the oddboxx sold?

As we can safelly assume, the future of oddworld depends largelly on the success or failure of the oddbox: if it makes no money, why would they bother and how could they pay for them?
So, is there any way to know how much has the oddboxx sold so far and the individual games as well?

The only way to know would be for someone who knows to tell us. The people in a position to who know are the people who work at Oddworld Inhabitants, Just Add Water and Steam. When the question was asked on the Oddworld Inhabitants Facebook Page, OWI responded but did not answer the question.

Inference: They don't want us to know yet.

They're starting their new project in February, so presumably however well Oddboxx sold they have enough in their coffers to fund that.

Judging by the reaction toward the glitches and crashes, I think that might of effected the sales slightly.

when people hear that they've been patched, that will increase sales i reason.

It's far too late for that, unless steam releases an announcement on the front page or something stating that the games have been patched and are playable, most of the people that bought the games at launch or sometime during the sale won't even touch them now just because to them they will forever stay as broken games.

From their point of view, the oddboxx collection is a permanently broken mess, and that's what other people are going to hear now. First impressions are very important, and JAW, bless them for trying, dropped the ball on that regard.

Well, I was kinda hoping for a responce from someone who does know, like Mr. Gilray, but I guess you're right, that's something we're probably not get.

$#!+, you are right! Your post made me check and yes, the torrent sites do have the games!
I was hoping this wouldn't happen. Lets pray that this will help people who wouldn't otherwise know about those games to decide and check them out and possibly even buy them or spread the word about how good they are and make others buy them. This is probably going to be a dissapointment again but well... I do hope it all turns out well.

I think the point of porting the games to PC was to send out a big "we are back" kind of message. I think they succeeded pretty well in doing this.

Of course it would be even better if they were also able to make money with it

Well, that was the original point i was trying to make. As an oddworld fun, i need them to make money out of this so that they will make more games in the future
