Need Serious Help

I probably want get either one for like a year but I need to decide would I rather have an xbox or a ps2. Obviously my first choice xbox because its faster looks cool has a bunch of features and mo. But ps2 has all the other sequals to the games i love like metal gear solid two, and a must have FFX.
What other good games are for xbox and keep in mind i dont like sports or racing games.

Because you have about a year until you get either one, I say see what's on offer. If I had to decide now I would get the PS2. It has a greater range of games than the X-Box and it cheaper. But this time next year, the X-Box might have a better range and a cheeper price. So wait around untill it's time to buy either one, but untill then, just do some reasearch

Ahh, but the Xbox has it's hard drive built-in and it is generally better.

go with xbox for sure, as the rest of the quintilogy is offically owned by microsoft now.
Plus, playstation has a lot of games to offer but not much else.
and trust me on this, the DVD feature for xbox really outshines ps2. The ps2 dvd player is so loud!(rattles, clicks and whirs)
and it actually moved across the floor a bit!
xbox all the way.
