I'd definitely go to 19th century Europe --- I've always wanted to be present in the time of that intellectual bloom. I also wouldn't be averse to paying a visit to the Enlightenment era. If it was a temporary time transfer (as I wouldn't want to live there, I think), I'd also see ancient Egypt and India.
