Team Fortress 2 Art

Hey guys, I've been recently drawing quite a bit so i decided to upload some.
I know most of you play Team Fortress 2 so i decided to upload my TF2 Drawings first.

Please don't insult my style and my art. i love to hear your opinions but i don't want to hear insulting ones.
EDIT: THE PICTURES ARE VERY BIG SO IT MIGHT TAKE A LONG TIME TO LOAD
If its really a problem i could re-size them.

NOTE: These original drawing may seem blury if its too bad. I'll upload coloured versons as soon as possible

I rather like the engineer one. The rest seem to have less effort put into them. Particularly the Heavy.

Could I suggest using a scanner? Otherwise these are great!

EDIT: What do you mean Oddey? The soldier looks like a lot more effort went into it.

I'd only seen the Engineer and the Soldier when I said that, because my internet is sooo slow.

I've seen the others now, and they're great as well, although I too strongly recommend a scanner.

Not bad at all. They are all recogniseable, with or without names. Perhaps resizing and rotating them would be a neat step towards perfection in their current state.

Do you want this thread solely for your TF2 fanart, or can others post stuff here as well? I might have a go at the scene from yesterday, during the melee server, when we walked up to the enemy as Scout and Pyro and kept taunting them...

Actually, you're right. Everything other than the Engie and Soldier else seems rather... Doodley.

Maybe a scanner, and turning the photos would help.

Could you round out the helmet a bit? Otherwise, everything seems to be in order. That isn't to say it's perfect.

But what happened to the detail on the second soldier? He's got shading and stuff, which looks great, but the one in 2Fort doesn't seem to have all that.

I have to say I prefer the one without shading. If shading isn't done very carefully, it just makes the picture look worse. Especially if it's pillow-shading.
I've done pixel-art, I know about shading, and I probably could make this look 3Dish, but I think it looks damned good how it is. And I don't want to mess with Crashpunk's pictures.

Well done Crash

I will edit the soldier Very soon. it was only a Version 1

The one on 2fort i made after i made the Soldier, then i shaded in the orignal Soldier but not the 2fort one.

I had a go at drawing Pyro without using any references. I forgot about a few things, like the gas tank on his back and its straps. Also, the grenade belt is mirrored. And I think the Axtinguisher has bigger blades than that, but I didn't want to erase all that. Feedback's welcome.

That Soldier is decent enough. As Oddey said, the helmet should be more round, the edges shouldn't stick to his head this much. Otherwise, good job.

I draw TF2 comics sometimes. My trick was to first draw all the classes from the computer screen (there used to be good pictures of them in their 'standard' pose on tfportal.de - not any more), then draw individual posed pictures using my sketches as reference. It makes it a lot easier than trying to draw poses from memory or a screenshot.

Awesome. You have the kind of consistent style I wish I had; just keep practicing and it'll develop. You should really try coloring the engineer; it's my favorite.

Yeah, stuble is hard to do - I think the best way is to start off from the base skin colour, and choose a more greyish shade from the palette. Observe below.

Mind, it's not an original work, it is based on the Medic Trading Card image.

I have no intentions to overshadow your work though, Crash.

Almost forgot about this one. Finished it recently, and is shaping out to be a series. No idea on which class should be the next yet, but I'll get there. Should you guys have any class-specific tips that you'd find important to mention, and if you also have an idea on illustrations, I'd like to hear them.
