"Oddbox" Announced: All 4 Oddworld games to be released on PC via Steam

Dark Xinos (remember him?) posted an URL to me - He can't log on anymore since re-setting his password isn't working for him, so I'm posting this on his behalf.

And yes, the Oddbox appears to include Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath, it seems - OWI are porting them to the PC.

Seems these games won't die with the original Xbrick after all.

(EDIT: Oh wait my mistake, seems this has been discussed already. Still, there we go. It's emphasised now.)

Ugh, these were uploaded yesterday to that site and marked as from PC. So I thought of them being new.

As a matter of fact after I posted them I checked Xbox screens and saw it myself too. So I edited my post numerous times back and forth but finally decided to leave the pictures in because that's what the game is most likely to look anyways. They ain't going to do some big graphical overhaul and that's probably how much they can get out of the game, taking into consideration they're promotional screens which means to show the game in best possible light before downscaling for the console. So what's glorified promo shot for the Xbox is actual ingame for the PC.

So at the end I left the screens so people could see how the game looks in high resolution because most other screens you can find are in low res.

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply you thought for certain those were PC screenshots, hihihi. I saw the question mark in your post. I agree that a higher resolution/clarity of image would be fantastic.

I only got to play the GBA version of MO, as I don't own an Xbox (normal or 360), so this will give me the opportunity to make up for that.

Well, now I know what I want for my birthday next year.
