"Russian remake of Abe's Oddysee for Pentagon (Russian variety of Spectrum 128)"
This was made by two brothers (V.Trofimcuk and A.Trofimcuk) who entered a competition in 2002. (Email: schafft@host.kz)

This is very trippy and strange. Note the replacement of voices with speech bubbles! There are three difficulties too; Novice, Specialist and Master.

The English translation was pretty shoddy though (the brothers did not translate the English version)... check out this video for proof!

You'll have to pause it (because the guy keeps skipping the text), but some of it is very amusing. Rapturefarms, Nekrom, Madokans, there's something about a guy called Owen as well (possibly a Slig?).

Note: I discovered that it was a fangame after I made this thread. It might need to be moved to Fan Corner depending on whether this is regarded as a port or fan-game. Apologies for that.

LoStraniero did a really good playthrough of Abe's Mission Escape and from that I learned that it also has secret areas from the Stockyards and Free-Fire Zone incorporated into it. Quite cool, I must say.

Oh, by the way, love the Spy VS Spy avatar you have Pilot.
