Hello! My name is...
Well, um...you don't need to know such details. Currently, I'm not in the mood to be attacked by psychopaths in the middle of the night. You can just call me Banner King (don't ask me why). Well anyway, enough with that. I'll tell you more about my...life? My primary interest is gaming. I used to be a big puzzle game addict a few years ago (which is how I became an Oddworld fan in the first place), but eventually I wanted to try something new, so now I'm into different kinds of games. My first game was Mario 64, and then Tetris DX on the old Gameboy Color, which really got me into puzzle games. Now, finding out about Oddworld was an exciting experience for me. My friend Rufus' older brother had an Xbox. I had a PlayStation 2. I wanted to know what kind of games his brother plays on his Xbox (maybe there was a new next-gen puzzle game that he had). My friend told me that his brother wasn't into puzzle games. The thing was, Rufus had a habit of misunderstanding people, and telling the wrong thing. So, I asked his brother if I could have a look at his games. He let me look at the games, but told me to be very careful with them (I was very young at the time). So I looked through them, and was disappointed. They were all FPS's. I just began to think that they were all FPS's, but then I saw another game. It was called Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. Not a typical FPS title, I thought. What was more, the characters on the cover didn't have guns. I turned the box around, and the screenshots on the back looked like a strategy platformer. So I decided to find out more about Oddworld, and found out that there were 2 Oddworld titles for the PlayStation, and they were both puzzle games. So I got them, and I played them on the PlayStation 2. But they fascinated me much more than the other puzzle games. The characters and environments in the games were more complex than in the other puzzle platformers. Than, I got the bad ending on Abe's Oddysee, so I decided to play it until I got a perfect ending. I reached my goal in several months, and finally started to play Abe's Exoddus. Later, I got all the other Oddworld games, and I still have them, with the boxes and manuals. They are very important to me, because the complexity of the characters and environments was what got me into the other genres of gaming. Now, I play all different kinds of games.
I also like TV shows. Or, more precisely, Simpsons and Family Guy. I was a fan of these 2 for several years already. I still can't forget how hard I laughed while watching my first episode of Family Guy. Now, I got all the different seasons of Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, and American Dad on DVD. But that's enough about me. What about you guys?
