Two old topics....

I thought about two old topics and decided to bring them up again because we have so many new people. But,now,I've put them both under the same one. What are everyones favorite books and movies? I would just like to know since there are so many new people. I'll post mine later because I'm so horribly lazy....

At the moment, my favorite movies are:

Sleepy Hollow
Beetlejuice
Misery
Batman Returns
Basic Instinct
The Deliverance
A Clockwork Orange.

As for books, I haven't read much recently. I found "The Great Gatsby" in our bookshelf and read a little of that. It's pretty good so far.

My favorite book, though not a novel - but a picture book, is The Watertower, by Gary Crew. It's brilliant.

Why´d run away?
Don´t you like my style??
Why don´t you come and play, I guarantee you a great big smile.
I come from the imagination, and I´m here stricly by your invocation..so what´d you say?
Why don´t we dance a while?
Cause' I know what you feel boy.
I know just what you feel boy.
You call me and I come a-runnin.
I turn the music on I bring the fun in.

I can bring whole city`s to ruin, and still have time to get a soft shoe in.

Now, we´re partying, that´s what it´s all about!

Ah,comic books....here are mine...
Johnny the Homocidal maniac(dark humored, artistic, great art, great writing, graphic violence, hilarious and lots o' disturbing torture scenes! YAY!!!! Genius! Utter genius!)
Lenore(not as good as Johnny but still very good and funny)
Squee(by the same man who created Johnny,Jhonen Vasquez. This is almost as good as Johnny. Not as dark or disturbing)
Spawn(yes,I don't only like strange, not in the main stream comic books... this is just a good comic...not as good as others though)
I read some MAD magazine.
oh,yes EC comics.(macabre horror comics of the 1950's. they also peddled out some sci-fi, humor, every thing...heh,heh..they were banned!)
I also like the book I'm reading now,"The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy." I have all of the series in one book. Unabridged. cool.
more movies:
Night Of The Living Dead(not the crappy new one,the old 1960's one.)
An American Werewolf In London(better than Paris)
The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb(ehh.... not for the litle kiddies. Disturbing claymation adventure)
Frankenstein(more of a drama. not horror.)
thats all for now....I list too much...
