I think Lannings decision to move into films is the wisest thing for Oddworld. Oddworld from the beginning was alweys ment to be for the big screen. Games were great but there was so much I wanted to discover that can easliy be explored in movies. Anyway cheers to Xav for posting the article.
“Also, we don't need no Jacob to gay this place up. We have officially won the award for the forum with a highest proportion of gay members whilst not being themed about poojabbing, cowboys or Kylie.” - Nate
“What came first was a story we haven’t told yet. It was about a guy who lost his body to a credit card racket. I told it to Sherry in 1992, in the context of a larger epic, and it was basically Oddworld.”

Spending as long as I do here, it's easy to forget that Oddworld has actual fans.
That was my thought. I am tempted to think that might be our first real description of Squeek. Then again, it also reminded me of the Citizen Siege protagonist:
‘An ex‐patriot [who] finds himself ensnared in a nightmarish credit racket that leaves him “repossessed”.’
