I am in the process of recording the Oddworld games as I play them. I am using Dazzle Pro 150 and Studio 11 to record and edit them. I Will have the complete games with gameplay mistakes edited out. They are being done in DVD quality movies in DVD and Mpeg forms. I have completed about 60% of Abe's Oddysee. I have completed 100% of Stranger's Wrath. I will continue with Abe's Exoddus and Munch's Oddysee. Some of you may think that I am nuts, but I don't care.
I am doing this for my own satisfaction, but decided to share them is anyone else is interested.
I am going on vacation tomorrow for a week, and when I get back, I will check to see how many people would like to have them. If there is anyone, then I will upload them to my Megaupload account and post the url's here when I am done. I don't think that this is illegal, but if it is, please let me know.

I don’t think it would be illegal: even if it technically is, I don’t think anyone here or anyone at Oddworld will mind. For the record, I think you’re absolutely nuts, but I admire your devotion to the series! If I have any space on my hard drive left by the time you offer these for download, I will consider watching them. Just how long are they turning out to be?

Listen, YouTube only supports 10 minutes of video and 1024 MB. Then he had to do multiple parts, which is worse.

Here are the links to "Abe's Oddysee The Recorded Game". At least this is what I have so far. I have all the secret levels and have saved all of the mudokons.
Being a side scroller....this is done pretty much like anyone would play it. I will put up the rest of the game when I finish it. I have had a lot of fun doing this, though it took a lot of time and effort to play it over and over and to edit the movies so that they are to my satisfaction.
I hope that anyone that is interested in this will enjoy them. The files are .rared mpeg files and should play on anyone's computer. I made mpeg files because they are easier for me to convert to DVD. They are downloaded from Megaupload which is a free site.
Please remember that I have shared this because I thought that others might also enjoy them. I will only upload to Megaupload and will not use torrents. Megauploads has very fast speed and is free, so anyone can have access to them. If this project is appreciated, then I will also record Abe's Exoddus and make it available.

Hmm.

Downloaded Zulag 1.part 1.rar just fine, but couldn't extract it because it requires Zulag1.part2.rar. Unfortunately, I couldn't download Zulag 1.part2.rar because of the restrictive download limit imposed on non-paying megaupload users.

Still interested in seeing it though. What resolution is the video at? Are there any framerate jitters? (a problem I've had when recording). Are the colours and sounds all perfect?

Your one big fan if you going to play each Oddworld game through and film it.

I tried to download one of them but when I clicked the link it took me to the site and the download didn't start. I seriously can't figure out any kind of dowload stuff that doesn't automatically start, without some kind of walkthrough.

Hope you finish though. I bet alot of people will find these cool.

When you click on the link, it will take you to a download page. You will have to type in a 3 letter code. The code is on the page and immediately to the right is where you type it, then click "download". Then you will go to another page and wait for the countdown, usually 45 seconds. Then click on the tab which says "free download". From there you download it to the folder of your choice on your own computer.

No youtube supports limitless time for the uploaded video , i watched a half life speed run before it was 1/2 an hour and i watched 42 minute video.
