Nowadays it seems like less and less people have that voice.

Apparently all those dumbass underage cunts at 4chan, or more likely /b/, have 'raided' some forum for epileptics and left a large flashing GIF all over the place.

When will this shit stop? I mean, it's not exactly the gleaming gem of internet phemomena, but surely there's some way to moderate these bastards, right? I remember thinking
'Oh 4chan, you're so misunderstood' and proceeded to advocate it, but no, not this time. fuck their meme's, fuck the shitload of fuck that is /b/, and fuck the whole 'Anonymous is legion' concept as a whole, sure they have project chanology, which is pretty cool and they are doing some good there, but this is fucking ridiculous.

I have returned from my abcence and am immediately flung into a state of disgust.
I usually stay well away from 4chan, but because I found it a little... immature and unstructured. But this is like the internet version of torturing a kitten.

May I ask as to where you found this information?

The reason why this is happening is because theres a large amount of people doing it, forming a mob mentality. And if you're 12 or 13, you've probably just seen Fight Club, and you think it's cool to be a pessimistic asshole.

Say only 5% of 4chans users are complete morons (only 5%? :P), that's a shit load of people who are willing to harass others. As usual in life it's the minority that fuck things up for the majority.

All in all, 4chan is funny for the odd lulz but it's out-weighed by complete fail.

An epilepsy forum? Seriously? Does such a thing exist...?

Encyclopaedia Dramatica has some issues as well I reckon. Some lulz but again, undermined by the level of phail.

The internet shouldn't need to be moderated, because of what it is, that also makes such possible moderating pretty difficult. I'd say any possible forums or whatever that may be susceptible to wankers like that, need more secure entry methods as a member, like here (I think it's here) where you're not a registered member able to post until the mods let you. They can then ban any new members like that anyway, and here's only so much you can do to a forum by posting spam or whatever.
