Oh honestly I do.
When I first got Oblivion, I didn't play it as much as I do NOW. Now I'm an official Listener of the Dark Brotherhood (Hand) and now, apparently, hated since I am a vampire. Which is why I come here now to ask some people with experience...
How in the HELL do I get rid of this CURSE!? I thank Vicente for giving me a taste of it, but now I hate it! >.<

Well, Dark-Elite, you can talk to Hassildor. I think he's the Mayor of Skingrad or Chorrol. I could be wrong. And he tells you how to cure you of your curse.

As for me in Oblivion. I just prefered to watch my brother play it rather than play it myself. It was just cool what we would find. Sometimes, I would see chests when he didn't. I actually was the one who saw the Giant Mud Crab and we named it...Edwina.

My favourite questlines were the Dark Brotherhood and the Mage's Guild. The King of Worms was so weird. And Lucien Lachance was awesome. Vicente was also cool.

Overall, I'm glad I didn't get enthralled by it. Yet it was so vast and beautiful for a fictional world.

PS. I can no longer watch my brother play because the game disc played up and will no longer work.

Meh, I got swamped in to it when I was invited to the DB. Lucien Lachance, I thought, was the traitor, but once proven innocent, I felt so sorry for the prick (weird prick might I add) And Vicente rocked on. I felt sooo bad when I had to kill them, Ocheeva, Teinaava, Antoinette, the ogre, Vicente, and archer lady. Oh well, I'm all-over powering of the DB now X3
I tried that, and he told me to go see a witch lady. What the prick she's making me go do her dirty work for her. Getting 5 grand soul gems. But that's the problem. I've stolen every GSG from the Mage's guilds, but they need to be empty. ANd when I got caught by the nasty guards, they took 'em. I need to know an easier way to get the damned cudules. A cheat would be nice, but then again, anything. Just to rid of it once and for all >.<

You know what I hate the most about Oblivion? It's way smaller than Elder Scrolls 3:Morrowind.

Well, I got bored with it after I became master of every guild, gained all the daedra armor, got Umbra, and won the game.

I would like to note I was an Argonian warrior, which is the worst class for warrior.

I mean, it's one of the reasons RPGs like Oblivion blow. Once you get everything done, there's nothing else to do.

Dull game, after the end.

EXACTLY! Morrowind had about 3 times bigger map (not to mention added islands that come with expansions), about a hell of a lot more skeelz, weapons and armor. Not only that, but the alchemy system was better and some skills made more sense. When youmade a potion, depending on your skill, the potion was either created or you spent the ingredients, made a mistake during the making (i guess that's what makes it fail), and you'd fail at creating a potion. Much better if you ask me. Also, about a 1000 quest all over the gigantic map in every single town and I think from about every 3rd person you encounter you can get a quest. Only problem was that I stopped playing it.(lol)Since you can actually swing the sword, there's always a chance that you'll miss. With blade skill the chance goes down. But when I first started to travel outside of towns I got attacked by some kind of big worms or something... I ran behind and ran, facing the creature and swinging the sword like a maniac, but couldn't hit it a single time.

Oblivion is a smaller game, but looks a whole lot better. I guess the reson for the world to be so small is the time and effort to create the models for it. Also, I love telekinesis in Oblivion. In Morrowind you can just grab things, while in Oblivion you must make it get to you and then grab it.

I guess another reason why I hate Oblivion is cause I've got a crap PC. Playing it in 640X480 WINDOWED, with draw distance of about 3 feet in front of you and PS1 smudgy textures ain't really fun like on max. detail.

Finished the game with all the achivements I could get (without the add-on)
but it's true, it's a bit boring when everything is done.

Morrowind got boring when you did everything too!

Just that there was so much, you could replay the first things you did because you forgot what they were, due to there being so much to do.

I know how
firstly go to the castle of skingrad and talk to the count he will refer you to an old woman who lives on the banks of the corbola river she can cure you but she needs a lot of things the first being 5 grand empty soul gems,

Sneak into her when she falls asleep again , next head to the chorrol mages guild and in a display case with a very hard lock are 2 of the stones, also a person who barters sells them there. Then just look around the other guilds for the others.

now for the real task for the cure you need 2 shoots of bloodgrass(oblivion) 5 nightshade petals(main ingredient imperial city) 6 garlic cloves ( everywhere)

these are the easy ingredients the last 2 are the blood of an argonian( talk to her and she'll give you a knife to stab one with just one slash will do) and the ashes of a powerful vampire he's hiding in a cave on the banks of the panther river( southwest of map) butcher your way through the hoards of the undead and you'll reach him

He's 5 levels higher than you but remember vampires have a weakness to fire so creamate him and head back to the witch to brew the cure, drink it and head back to skingrad and give it to the count he'll give you 1000 gold for your work.

P.S (if you keep talking to the count about your reward he'll give you 1000 gold each time)

hope this helps.

No, Morrowind was boring as soon as you stepped outside of the first town.

Boring quests impossible to keep track off if you forget to do them, it was easy to get lost even checking the map every five seconds, and I never really felt that powerful. And even with all my best stuff straped on, I looked like a cross-dresser. I just wish all the stuff looked cooler.

And let's admit, the final reward for beating the game was a shitty ring. That's a nail in the coffin for me.

WoW beats every elder scroll game hands down.

Well...yeah, but you didn't read my recent post. I stole all the GSG from all the Mage guilds, and when I was caught by the guards, they took everyting away. But thanks for the suggestion

You could always go to the castle that you were caught , go to the dungeon and break into the evidence chest to try and get them back.

Oblivion is just straight boring. Too many glitches in that game too. The story line isn't the best, either. I guess it just kinda sucks.

Glitches? There weren't that many that were gameplay hindering to my recollection.

You either like it or you don't.

If you dedicated enough time to finish the game without even liking it, something is wrong with you, or you want to appear smart.

Oblivion is pretty good, I guess. The main quest didn't have the greatest plot, and compared to Morrowind, there were not enough quests.

After patching Oblivion, my game began to crash frequently, I get roughly 5 - 10 crashes every time I played. My computer isn't the greatest, so I only get between 8 - 20 fps.

The main problem with Oblivion was that it relied almost completely on randomly-generated loot. For me, the random loot coupled with the extremely repetitive dungeons killed the need for exploration. Why look for new dungeons when you can just plunder one, go off for three days and do some other stuff, then come back and loot it again? After all, you have basically the same chance of getting that special item from Dungeon A as you do from Dungeon B.

That was the beauty of Morrowind: it had the perfect mix of randomly-generated loot and all manners of amazing items hidden in the nooks and crannies of the labyrinthine dungeons. Every cave, shrine, and crypt was unique in some way, and every room was just begging to be explored.

For example, in Morrowind, an ordinary-looking burial crypt could yield a secret door, which could yield a maze, which could yield a hidden cave, which could yield a treasure-filled viking burial ship in and underground lake, each one painstakingly detailed and a far cry from the cookie-cutter dungeons of Oblivion. And to the discerning eye, that curious crevice above the burial ship might contain a one-of-a-kind piece of armor...

All of you Morrowind players probably know what I'm talking about.

I have it on 360. It is much better than Morrowind. God, I hated that game. It took so long to level up because when you first start, you miss about 8/10 times. I haven't played it in a while though.

I couldn't be bothered with Morrowind, especially after I fell into the water and couldn't hit that rat RIGHT IN ****ING FRONT OF ME.

Oblivion was way better, but I beat that too easily...

So now I'm waiting for something new.

I have. It feeds on souls. It also turns its wielder (Unless the wielder is player) insane and wanting to get more souls for the sword. If you have soul gems, you capture the soul of the creature you've beaten.

In Oblivion, a woman named 'Umbra' owns the sword and you must kill her to get it.

By the way: Is there anyone besides me who found Mannimarco to be intimidating (Not overly frightening, just intimidating) when they first saw him?
