Munch's Odyssey Bad Ending (Munch's POV)
This is not as good as my Munch's Odyssey Intro fic. But it's another cutscene in Munch's point of view. It's not as good, mind. But I like how it came out in a way.
“We gotta get those eggs out of here” Abe said to me. He was just as tense I was. I nodded, too scared to speak. But as I was nodding, a fuzzle dropped down. He was horribly mutated.
“Hey, guys” He said “Nice of you to come back” I was riddled with guilt. Abe seemed sad too. But it was quickly replaced by fear.
“Why didn’t you save us?” The fuzzle asked. There were more of them? I felt scared.
“They did things to us…” A fuzzle dropped down, looking even worse than the first fuzzle. “Bad things”
“Really bad things” Another fuzzle dropped down, saying this. He had injections sticking out of his body. Abe and I started babbling, trying to get an answer out. We felt some English come out. We thought that be enough. But it wasn’t.
“Wrong answer…” The fuzzle growled, the injections inside him wobbling.
“Wrong answer…” Abe repeated the fuzzle’s words, “What’s that mean?”
“Over here shmuck” A fuzzle called. We looked. Pins were stuck inside his body, making it hard for him to talk. “What comes around goes around…” He hissed. We realised what was going to happen.
“No! NO!” We yelled. It didn’t make a difference. He jumped onto the alarm button. The sirens were sounded and the room was flashing. I looked back at the fuzzles. They immediately bared their teeth and attacked. Abe’s screams were in my head. I was also in pain. I just remember hearing someone’s neck snapping before passing out.
I woke up after what seemed like eternal darkness. I was in the operating room once again. I saw Abe’s head.
“Abe” I wanted to say. I wanted to hear his voice. But I wouldn’t hear it again. For Abe was dead. His head was mounted on the wall in the most humiliating way possible. The name under it read ‘Loser’. I felt bad for Abe. But the worst was yet to come.
Irwin pushed a couple of buttons onto the phone. He picked up the receiver and started speaking.
“Hello, Lady Margaret? We’ve got your brand new lungs sitting right here. We’ll be ready to do the transplant as soon as you’re available” He said. My fate was sealed. I was scared now. But no one would help me. I had betrayed the fuzzles and they had their payment in blood.
“Oh, wonderful” Irwin “See you then” He walked away from me. Humphrey stood there, an angry light in his green eyes.
“Surprise” He yelled, pulling all sorts of horrible things you wouldn’t want in your body. He approached. I screamed. I was unbearable agony. I kept screaming, despite the fact that there was no one in the world to help me now. The pain got worse. I could hear my own heart not only on the heart monitor, but also in my chest as it was opened. I felt more pain. Then I…I was gone…
Very sad for me to write. But I don't mind the sadness much.
