Well, not much is known about him, but he's the spiritual leader (sort of like the 'medicine man' of the American Indians) of the Mudokons. He's named Bigface due to (duh) his painted wooden mask, and during Abe's Oddysee he revived Abe from death and later gave him spirit scars, so I bet he must be pretty powerful.
And yep, he's a shaman.
That's all I know, I think.

As wise as Bigface may be he has taught everything he can to Abe, which is why Abe's new mentor is the Almighty Raisin.
Also did you ever notice Big Face's skin is the same color as Abe?

Sorry Mia, but thats not a real in game pic of Big Face, try watching the end of Abe's Oddysee. In the vid the camera shows Abe and Big Face from behind, you can then see they are both the same color.

Not necessarily. Body paint is a traditional part of many indigenous cultures.

I believe the mudokon warrior caste paint their entire bodies. Well, I assumeso, I haven't seen beneath their loincloths (thankfully).

Big Face may know the entirety of Abe's future, he's so powerful, but isn't talking. Since he's powerful enough to teleport at will and all, surely he'd be able to destroy RF himself quite easily? I hope Big Face reappears though, he's an awesome character, and far better than that BS shaman from Munch's Oddysee, I agree. I mean, the Mudarchers had more feathers than the frikkin' shaman. That makes no sense to me, if surely the shaman is so powerful? The concept art looked so much more awesome.

I’ve never been one to admire the Big Face immensely. I can’t see that he exhibits much of a personality outside AE’s opening FMV.

Big Face wouldn't of saved Abe if he had deemed it pointless, those portals they use shave years off the Mudokon caster's life.
I'm sure if Big Face tried to save Abe single handedly he would of failed or died in the process.

Strangely Abe seems to be able to use many portals without losing any life, perhaps its because he is chosen and all.

Actually, Max did it... and I'm aware Big Faces' a Shaman, he just isn't the most powerfull Shaman on Oddworld
