Weird Phobias You Have?

Does anyone else here have some weird fears or phobias that they want to discuss? Fear of spiders, clowns, water, heights, extraterrestials, and closed spaces is common, and as such if you have them and only them, you need not post.

I have a fear of fly larvae. Dunno why, but they creep me something awful. Especially the thought of gum infections by them.. *shudders*..

I also fear any disease, like SARS, that causes death by drowning. Honestly, I'd rather just get killed in a car accident before catching it.

I didn't know SARS killed you by drowning. I always thought it was death by respiratory faliure...

Respiratory failure in that your lungs fill up with fluid.

I hate talking to people on the telephone. Even if it's a friend, I just feel really awkward and uncomfortable and often say stupid things.

I have a strange fear of doing some things faster than I would like. Like writing. Or flipping eggs. Pretty much the reason why I am described as a turtle or why I bring in my test two minutes after the class has ended.

But that is not realy a phobia so I guess it would be parasites.

I'm exactly the same, though I dont say stupid things, I just dont talk. Awkwarder silences.

The have the fear of looking up while outside. And I'm really not joking.

I don't mind people doing things withtheir eyes TOO much. I know somone who can turn their eyelids inside out, but I would never try it myself, for obvious reasons.
However I pwn you all with weird fears- up until the age of oh....let's say, 9?, I was afraid of rabbits. yes, big furry rabbits. My cousins had a rabbit which I refused to go near at the time. ;o It was cause a big big BIG, fat rabbit bit me in a petshop when the owner said it wouldn't bite me. Still, I'm not araid of them now.

Hm... I'm not sure what it is called, but for some weird reason I have always thought that weeds were uber creepy. I don't know why. probably just cause they grow out from the ground and suffocate other plants. and they can get like.....10 feet tall...

I overcame that fear a little the other, other, other weekend by taking a machete to my back yard. it used to be over-run by the little B-tards but now I can't get any of 'em to grow back so I can kill them again...

I have a terrible fear of hurting people [more physically than emotionally]. I'm a weak girly so-and-so and couldn't hurt a fly but I'm terrified about it.

This isn't quite a phobia so much as general paranoia but I'll often get worried that I've insulted someone if they don't talk to me for a while or they seem in a bad mood. I suppose it's just because in the past there have been times when I've pissed someone off and been completely oblivious.

I have that exact same fear! Except it's mostly weird talking to a disembodied voice.

I am scared to death of clowns or anyone in one of those giant mascot costumes (ala Chuck E. Cheese) They give me the jibblies. I'm also afraid of people with beards and/or a lot of body hair. It's just gross.

I also dislike being touched or touching other people.

That's not gay at all. My genuine fear is of wasps and bees and hornets. It's tied to childhood trauma and the fact these creatures carry a genuine capacity for evil, which separates them from the rest of the insect world.

Which also totally freak me out.

I am probably alone in my family in being able to ignore those insects entirely. As such, I am never bothered.

I'm a homophobe, I have a chronic fear of insects/arachnids/all sorts of crawly things (you can't really call that arachnophobia since it entails more than just spiders) , and I have an acute fear of the mentally ill (I can never find a word for that one). Just seeing one of the special ed. children at my school makes me want to run away as fast as possible. I walked into a bathroom once and I saw one. I hastily fled to another can at the end of the school, which made me late for English.
