What's the record for least saves and most kills on AE?

I just got 276 killed(and looking back, I've realised I could've got 3 more) and only 9 saved. What's the record?

And you definately got the bad ending didn't you? Well, I can't
exactly remember how many I saved so far but I think it was a
little over 150. I certainly don't intend to get the bad ending
if I can just watch it using the FMVs cheat.

Yeah, but if you're talking about the three that are under that platform in RuptureFarms, in some secret area, it is impossible to kill these guys.
I spent a few hours on just these Muds, and believe me, it's either save them or leave them.

Come on! That's the whole fun in it.

Abe's Exoddus??? I thought that we were talking about Abe's Oddysee here!

Well.... My bad... I feel dumb. Okay well Abe's Exoddus. I don't really know what my record is, but it's always been around 275-285.

(and does anyone know what area that I'm talking about with the Muds under the platform in Abe's Oddysee?)

Aren't you talking about one of the two secrets areas at the beginning of the game. If not I have no clue what you're talking about.

Yep. They aren't the only impossible ones either. There's also two in a secret area in stockyard escape, three in a secret in Scrabanian Temple, and three in a secret in Paramonian Temple.

Go into Oddworld Help and tell it to show all threads. There should be one called "2x Probs" by yours truly. It contains everything you could want.
:
Alright I just played through it all.

In AO you can kill 86. The ones you can't kill are: the 2 in the first secret of the Escape, the 2 in the last secret of the escape, the 3 in the Paramonian Temple, the 3 in the Cafeteria in the Scrabanian Temple, the one you must save when you get back to RuptureFarms, the 2 in the secret(Zulag 1) with the 4 sligs that drop down. The ones in the areas that are accessed by Shrykull you can get to, you just have to get grenades and chuck them in.

In AE you can kill 273. Note that this includes the use of a Shrykull portal in Brewery Zulag 7 to access 5 muds while saving 3. Otherwise, if you make a point of not saving anything, and only save 8, you can only kill 271. The ones not killed are: the 9 in the first secret, the 2 that must be saved in Tunnel 1, the 2 that must be saved in Tunnel 4, the 2 that must be saved in Tunnel 5, the 3 used to make Shrykull in Brewery Zulag 7(Substitute the other 5 in Brewery Zulag 7), the 3 in brewery Zulag 13 that you need Shrykull to access, and the 6 in the final Zulag.

Note that the Shrykull in Slig Barracks and Bonewerkz does not have to be used as in Bonewerkz a rock can be thrown to eliminate the bombs, and in the Slig Barracks a grenade can be thrown to eliminate 2 of the flying mines and one of the UXBs, allowing you to disarm the rest and get in the door.

EDIT: I didn't edit my previous post because of Alcar's annoying Edit Locking
Hope that helps.

I definately killed more than that.

If you're referring to the Brewery Zulag where you have three slogs, and five muds on the screen to the right, it's possible to kill them all without Shrykull... just ****ing hard. (The three at the top are the ones I didn't kill when I played)

Here's what you do. Take note of the bone sack just above where the slogs are, which gives you 9 bones each time.

Throw three bones into the first screen with the slog. Walk to the next and throw six. Slap one of the mudokons. Observe for as long as possible, then run. (There should be an extra bone on the next screen, which the slogs will go to instead of attacking the mudokons)

Repeat until one dies, which will make all the others depressed. Do not do anything to him yet, just wait until all the bones are eaten.

Repeat again, this time only throwing two on the first screen, and seven on the other. Quickly slap the survivor, he should die in one hit. This should make the rest depressed. Hopefully they'll die before the slogs finish.

There's a glitch in AO. In the Slog sections, get a Mudokon following you as you go through a portal. Then the Mudokon appeared in the main area (a bit where you have to get the Slog to run into the mine, hence the chant message "Slog go boom"). You hear his footsteps, then it appears. I blew him up along with the Slog XD
AE, the record could be 999. There's a glitch where you use invincibility and go through the Feeco depot Aslik thing. The 10 Mudokons respawn each time you do it. Kill or save endlessly.
I completed it in 1 or 2 saves. I can get part through Slig Barracks or something from the beginning of the game in one day. Seriously.

Glitch=cheat=not valid, Zerox. ZANGG, thx, I'll try it, so that would mean you can kill...276?

I'm playing again to see exactly how many I can kill.

Also - I recently managed to, in AO, get 99 saved... and 1 killed. The counter actually displayed -1 employees total. I actually think this may be something the game makers put in intentionally, because of the way I acheived it - it seems rather hard for something like it to happen by accident. (If you guys wanna know how, PM me. I won't spoil it here.)

That happens often in AO. I've saved 102 before though I'm not sure if that's a glitch or whether there actually are 102 muds.

I don't think it's possible to save any extras the way I did it.

You know in the slog hut level(the one where slogs come at you from both sides on one screen), where there's that mudokon you get an explosion ring thingy from? Try using a grenade on him. :-p

Do you mean in the last Zulag of AO? Isn't that guy in the background so the grenade couldn't hit him?

Don't have a save anywhere near it, but I'll describe better.

You know in Zulag 4, the screen where slogs come at you from both sides(it's the level just before the Board Room). Well, after getting rid of the slogs, you can take Abe onto the screen where they come from both sides, and roll out to the left. There is a mudokon you get a ring from here. You can blow him up and it counts him as a casualty.

Well I haven't tried to kill the Mudokons, cuz I don't like to kill innocent lives (even if they don't seem to bother in the game) but I played through the game without saving or killing anybody... well sometimes you may have to save 'em but it was a while since I played it so I can't remember exactly.

Oh, the level with ~150 Slogs, 8 Sligs, 7 timed bombs, 2 electric walls, 2 mines, and the generator controls. The one where you have to get past said things. That makes sense. Shame you can't get grenades in Paramonia and Scrabania to wipe out the muds there

EDIT: Can you redo the temple levels to get more saved? Cos you might be able to go in, save them, go back to the hub, go in, save again. Dunno.

Well duh, I know. What I was asking was whether if you save, then leave, the Muds reload but your count stays the same, so you can resave them. Or rekill them.

Okay, I completed my replay and killed 274 - including all those in the slog-guarded area in the Brewery. I must've missed two elsewhere... as it says that without accessing these five, 271 is possible... and 271 plus these five would be 276.

Hm, I must've miscounted the first time through.

Did you avoid saving anything? The Shrykulls in SB and BW can hit hard.
