Here I am, contacting you from Medford, a small metropolitan section of Boston.
After an exhausting journey on the road, we finally made it to the capital where we spent a day at the Smithsonian and retired to a friend's apartment, later that evening. The next day, we gazed upon the many monuments and memorials that D.C. nurses and ate at a really nice Mexican restaurant where I had this wonderful Central American fruit drink called "Orchata." The next morning, we basically stopped at every other restaurant for drinks as we walked around the Capital Building and later went to the botanical gardens there. We left the same day.
Our next stop was Princeton University in New Jersey where we trotted around a bit and stared at the insides of a gorgeous cathedral there. We stayed at another friend's house for the night.
From there on, we travelled onwards to Boston where we hanged around the house a bit and later journeyed to the beautiful state of New Hampshire. There, we spent the weekend in a family trailer vacation home and went swimming in a lake, not far from it. I seriously wish one of us had brought along a digital camera so I could have gotten a few pictures of the beautiful mountains and woods there. There was this really amazing mountain there called Chocoara (sp) that you could see from all around. I kept blabbing about how I wanted to take a hike up to the top of it.
Now, as you may have guessed, I am here back in Boston, carrying out the remainder of my trip. I hope to post some new pics of myself on my trip, assuming my father remembers to email them to me. Last I recall, the last time I posted some decent pics of myself was back an entire summer when I went to Canada.
That's all for now. Adios!
