Oddworld Font

Does anyone know what the oddworld font is? You know, the one's in the game and the ones in the test videos.Please help.

I found the Oddworld fonts purely by accident one day... the in-game font is called New Portland and the font used at the end of the videos is called Agenda Condensed.

But the only places I have ever found these fonts online are where you have to pay like $30 each for them. I have never found them (or anything near close) on any of the free font sites.

I always said that I would have a go at doing them myself one day... but I just haven't got around to it yet. If I ever do I will put them up for everyone to download.

Unless of course someone finds them for us first.

Wow, thanks Abe Babe, but amazinly, i found the fonts on a font cd i bought for 9 bux. They have different names though, one of them is Avenida LET, thanks anyway!

Aw come on, Grid, everyone knows you just set up an alter ego account.

A font is a typeface, a set of letters and numbers that look a certain way that you can use in a word processor to make your words look cool. Or not cool, or whatever you want.

Grid used to have the same custom photo as you Banjo X (he doesn't anymore)... that's why I think that people are getting confused.

Can you also email it to abebabe@oddworld.au.com and I'll put it in Oddworld-Web's download section w/ credit to you, as I've been wanting to have it there for a long time!!!

Ah i understand! This is font: hghjhkjthkgnm4285487 for example. Just letters and numbers or symbols like these: +#+'<|>,.

P.s what´s the diffwerence between these and those? Those was when it´s farer away fromme and those when it´s here or was is different...?

And why are you trying to make Banjo X hurry to send the font? He said he's "sendin" it and that was ages ago, so he's obviously sent it already. It's now up to Abe Babe and/or Sydney to post it on their sites for us to download. Please just be patient.

Also, the font Banjo X was referring to was the one used in the game, forget the "test video" thing, that's not important. You'll see exactly what font he's referring to once Sydney & Abe Babe have posted it on their sites.

I haven't put them up on Oddworld-Web's downloads page yet, as I'll probably do something fancy like an example... but at least forum members can download them here for now.

I can't get the font to work...

It's simple Dakkan, you just place the .ttf files in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder. if you download the zip file, extract the files in it to the Fonts folder previously mentioned.

The tricky thing is, they will show up in your font list as:
"Hush" and "Avenida LET"
I guess that's where you got confused.
