Have a look into your Crystal Ball. Look at yourself when you are 30, married to the man/woman of your dreams. Everything is going great, but you are not sure. Something might be missing. Then one day your partner says to you. "Hey Honey, how about we start a family. What do you think about having children"? Now what would your answer be?

While the Crystal Ball's time frame may vary from person to person, the question is still there. Do you want to have children one day?

I will NEVER EVER have such evilness as a baby!! Oh GOD help me!! O_O Children are evil... Bleh i wouldn't know what to do with a baby once i got it... I mean... It's just a bunch of flesh generating very loud sounds, liquid, puke and consumes food. Then it developes into a thinking version of the baby, and finds new ways to plague us !!! LORD HELP US!!

I'm not even comfortable around most people my own age. I can't begin to imagine what it would be like to have a little kid looking up to me, and knowing that however he or she turns out as an adult will be largely determined by how I did as a father. Ugh. So much pressure. On the other hand, I love kids, and I'm much too young to be making such a decision anyway. I guess time will tell.

I just hope I never have a son and look at him one day and think "Oh my God... I have put forth another me into existence." I would have to eat him.

I'm betting most people here will change their minds by the time they get old enough to have kids. I know I did.

I always wanted to have kids until I started leading in a youth group and on camps. I soon realised that the best thing about kids is giving them back. So I intend to be the world's greatest uncle and shower my nephews and nieces with love but I'll be glad not to have the final responsibility for them.

Not to mention, I realise now that I only ever wanted kids to relive my childhood (hopefully) more successfully. And that's the best way to screw up a kid, speaking as someone who's father did that to him. Also, as a parent if your child ends up totally screwed up, you've got no-one to blame but yourself. And I couldn't handle the thought that I had screwed up someone else's life.

Still, the way I feel right now, I would say no and buy a puppy instead. Currently I just want to get as far away from kids as I can, as most of them I know of are evil. But if I actually get to that situation where I am happily married, a lot will have changed by then and most likely my opinion along with it. I don't think I would be a very good mother as I am too hesitant about everything. The poor kid would be too confused about everything.
But then again, it would have its father too.

My children have been the greatest experience of my life. I'm a better man for having them. Not sure if I'm going to have more, however.

Well of course I'm dreamin' of that, but I'm not sure if I'm having children within that age, maybe earlier Children are adorable (they sure are), but children mean a big responsability and that means for that matter to really take a good care of them as well. The question is; Can I take care of a child, another human being?

All I can do now is imagine myself with a bunch of kids and all of that stuff.

Well my little brother is a hell raiser, but the funneist thing is, is that he has a completely almost opposite characteristics that I had when I was at his age.

What I think about having a child is that it's going to be your own, unless abdopted otherwise. If you think about it, your child would part of your and and your partners DNA, it would be like looking at yourself. But parenting and looking after chirldren can be tough work and annoying as hell. I would though like to have a child of my own someday in the future, more of a son. It could be quite rewarding.

I'm the only boy of my generation with my family name, since it's packed with girls, but yah maybe. If I get married that is. But maybe costing 18 years might be a challenge. But as 30, no. Maybe earilar. :P

I don't particularily want kids. I think I'll be a loner all my life, seeing how I can't get a guy friend. (Well, I can, but I got the moronic jackasses... )
I have to babysit two younglings; one 7 and one 5. They're a pain, but they're fun.
When I was younger, I had a hellraizer of a child to babysit. When I was like...13? But that kid was a monster, and that brought me to a point to where I never wanted kids.
Yep...I'm-a live alone, never have kids. That's how I see myself 10 years from now...
