does anybody remember it, it was a sega genesis game. very fun game and cool music.

MOD EDIT: While downloading emulation software is not illegal, it is very illegal to download ROMs for games which you don't own. So, as much as I liked Vectorman back in the day, I can't let you link to site that distributes the ROM.

Was that the one with the green guy made up of a bunch of floating orbs? If so... I loved that game. I'm too young to be nostalgic about games like some people are ("Remember when Pong came out? Mmm, good times."), but I do have some fond memories associated with a few of them because I used to play them with my brother way back in the day. Vectorman is one of those. And a kickin' game in its own right, t'be sure.

So uh... yeah. Good times.

download the emulator called "Gens" and the roms section is on the left of the page, vectorman 1 and 2 you can get also most other sega genesis game.

Click Download

Save

Open (not open Folder)

extract all files (should be listed as folder task)

also do this for the roms. use gens to open.

uhhh......ignore......post???

I already have a sega emulator.I have vectorman. And now I'm doing time just for getting it. (Kidding) It rox! i have to say the music is awesome.

Yeah Vectorman was class... the lack of being able to save games when met with any level of challenging difficulty in genesis games however made it as tedious as any other title, due to the fact that completing the game involved the console spending lots of time paused, which it was not built to do, and therefore often froze.

I loved Vectorman. It almost makes me want to buy the "Sonic Gems" collection so I can unlock it. Almost. Too bad "Sonic Gems" only has one decent Sonic game on it.

the link below on the first post it to a good emulator and rom site. no voting or none of that fake BS just great games. you have to register to download, but the good news is that it's free!!! i hope people enjoy those games and have fun with them, thats the reason why i really started this thread.

Vectorman is quite possibly one of the most ADD-inducing games I've ever played. It's also probably one of the coolest. The opening theme is teh krunk, and the gameplay just makes you want to jump up, run outside and yell "&%$# YEA!"

I still haven't had my question answered. Perhaps if I express it a little less vaguely:

What sort of gameplay is it?
What are the characters like?
What is the design like?
Why is it so great?

To answer Nate's question....err...questions:

1. Run and gun/platformer
2. There isn't much elaboration on characters, but basically all you need to know is that Vectorman is a good robot with a badass proficiency with weapons. Warhead is the badguy who wants to blow up Earth.
3. It's two-dimensional, but it's graphics rivaled Donkey Kong at the time.
4. It brings back the glory days when videogames didn't have amazing storylines, just awesome gameplay. You'll probably never see as many explosions or hear as many robotic screams in any other Genesis game.

Vectorman 2 was also F**king good. i didn't get the Whole kill that spider shit at the End.

Uh...from what I could infer from the 2 minute long storyline, I believe that spider was the queen of the bug thingies. It doesn't make much sense though, how can a spider give birth to things other than spiders?

It was pretty f***ed up, but I love 1 and 2. Thank you Sonic Gems!
