A lot of us know that there is almost NO music in this game. Just background sounds and such. Well you see I wanted to know if any of you play surround sound or some other music tyoe to make the gamre feel real. I just got surround sound television and playing AO with it is awesome. I prefer surround but how do you listen to things on the game?
Well first of all i'm only talking about Abe's Odysee. (AE had much music and well...Stereo for it doesen't seem right for me.). Also I meant my t.v. had the surround sound I did not have to plug anything in. It's just part of the television's music system (That's what it's called I think....).
Somehow I think that AO and AE don't feature dolby surround 5.0 :P. Munch Oddysee and Stranger do however, and it's totaly awsome to play those two on a home cinema system XD.
Well, if you are using a psone, it might be possible to add you own music in the game. You see, with some games after the level has loaded, just open the psone and remove the game disc and replace it with a music cd. Then you will be able to play that level with your favorite song playing in the background. The only problem with this is that you have to put the game cd back in before the psone tries to load another level / save in order to coninue playing. I haven't tried it with AO or AE but it should give the games a Hollywood movie feel.
I can't help you if it's on Playstation, but if you wanted to know for a computer, then you just have to muck aroudn with the program files, and place you own music in with exactly the same name and overrite the previous sound file.
