Hidden Bring Down the Man-ism?

I was just replaying Stranger's Wrath, and I noticed that the design on Filthy Hands Floyd's armbands/vest are the same as the "Support Our Troops" symbol. Think this was intentional, or just a coincidentally ironic design choice?

Any other hidden Bring Down the Man-isms are welcome to be discussed here.

Never noticed, but knowing Lorne, twas most likely intentional . Remember the hidden message in the opening of stranger when you would play it backwards... was I read in an older thread anyway.

I don't know what a “Support Our Troops” symbol is (I'll soon find out, no need to enlighten me), but it certainly doesn't surprise me. It's a great detail, more likely to have been added by the production design team.

No. It's from the opening movie. It starts just after Stranger runs off screen and before the camera pans out to view the valley with the grubs fishing.

In real life, it's a ribbon in that shape, and its used in "Support Our Troops" campaigns.

It would have been a good find, Kimon, but I think it's just a meaningless design. I think all that pot is making you paranoid.

Anyway, I was skeptical of that backwards message when I first heard it way back when, but it makes sense. After all, isn't a major (perhaps the main) theme of the Oddworld series revolution and rebellion and bringing down the military-industrial complex, et cetera, et cetera? It's not too odd that they would include little "bring down the man-isms" like that. (great term, by the way)

Interestingly enough, we're just now learning a bit about the French revolution in French class. Funkay.

Easiest way to confirm it if you doubt it, download the file, open it in Windows Recorder and select: Play Backwards. You'l hear the exact chant from the Stranger Opening.

About the reversal shite, I've found and mentioned this subliminal a while back.

This one has Stranger saying "Never liked guns"

It either was a complete accident and a big coinedence to sound like that or they did it on purpose and it means something.

They probably didn't, since this one Does mean something when played forward and is part of a conversation. It's just fun to note.
