I've never understood Animal Crossing, though it sounds intrigueing. What's it about?

Animal Crossing is the game that never gets old. Anyway, the story is is that you move to this town in an unkown location in the land of Animal Crossing. All of the inhabitants are...well, animals. And you are the only human. So you come to the town, but you don't have a house, so good ol' Tom Nook comes to let you stay in a place as long as you do some part time work at his store.

So after you're done being an indentured servant to him, you can go upgrade your house to bigger sizes, a basement, and a cellar (spelling?). There are only short term, quick bursts of fun goals, no having to defeat the dark lord jiffy.

Whats also amazing is that the game keeps going after you've signed out, as in, the inhabitants keep on talkin', the tran keeps on chuggin', so something always happens whether you're there or not!

Trust me, it is oodles of fun. I would recomend it to anyone who wants a game like the Sims only without all the cool yet useless stuff involved. So batka!
