Oddworld Oddworld Toys!

Many Threads ago, and many years ago aswel, we were all talking about Oddworld Toys, Ideas. Of cause that was just when Munch was coming out, but now with four Oddworld games I've decided to reopen this topic for modern use. And make a bit of a game.

Here are the rules:

Post what you think will make a good Oddworld toy. Post it's status eg:

Abe
chanting action with sound effects. Wind up toy. 2-6 yrs

You may post a drawing if you wish. You are the distributer, the small unkown, never heard of toy company that makes and sells the toys. The other Forum Members will be the Public. You are all children, of the age range suggested, or parents of children of the age range suggested. You must say why you would/wouldn't buy this toy for your child/you. It is against the rules to say that you would buy it just because it is Oddworld, just imagine that Oddworld is a regular Toy. Say on ways to improve the toy, and say weather you think the age range is correct ect. So, shall we start?

Chippunk Furby

Eyes follow people in the room. Talks nonsense, 500 pre programmed phrases and you can teach it 1600 phrases of your own. Fury. 10 inch tall 7 inch wide. Age Range: 4-10 yrs

(If you are the Next person to post, you must rate mine, then post one of your own toys, then the following person must rate yours)

This sounds different to me. I've got one:

Big Bro Slig Action Figure:Has a working gun in it's hand. Has a button on it's back that shoots a plastic dart out of the gun. 6 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches shoulder length.
Age Range: 6-10

As for yours, it sounds cool, but I hate furbies. I would buy it for my child, but not me.

I like both of yours and would buy them both, thy sound like good inventions.

Ok a Vykker action figure with a lil hacker saw in its upper right hand and nothing in its left hand. There is a vioce box and 2 bottons. One is square and sticks out a little and the other botton is circular and stubby. The square one opperates the upper right hand and the circular one allows the voice box to say one of the three sayings.
They include:
"Hey thats what your mama said when I.... Oh never mind!"
"Augh, how dare you!"
"Awww yeah"

Cullen, I would buy that one because it sounds like a cool toy. Probably something I would expect to find in a Macdonalds happy meal (And I often like Macdonalds toys. The downside is I go there about once every three years)

Odd, I like the Big bro Slig cos of the Dart. It's so cool! I hate furbies too.

Toy:

This is a Strangers Wrath Crosbow. It is lifesize and actually works. It is a safe toy for children. The Crosbow fires plush Ammo, these are sold seperatley.

The crossbow sounds awesome. That would be cool.
Toy: Poseable Stranger Action Figure.
Description:It would have 8 different sayings like, "Come and get it, your momma did," and, "Gotta get packrat Palooka.Shu, The hell kinda name is that?" You can also buy the outlaws and Doc and clakkers and grubbs. They come in two sets, Stranger with 2 grubbs, Doc with outlaws, Sekto and wolvarks, and two clakkers. Stranger also comes with replaceable ammo.

Cool I'd buy it(if it wasnt really expensive)
It would be cool if the little Fuzzles and Zappflies and Chippunks were soft and had a vioce box inside so when you fired it and they hit the ground, they would say they're most popular phrase. Hey sorry to add to yours. Here's mine:
Ok this is a set of a mine car and Abe(and for a limmeted time only a blind Mudokon)
Abe has bendable arms and legs so he can fit into the mine car. The mine car has one of those wind up things(like when you pull a little car back and it goes forward)
exept it is made nicely, not crummy(not like a Mcdonalds toy)

EDIT: Oh abe16, you posted just before me so I just read yours, sounds great. these are all really good inventoins!

Aye I got two:

Mini slig

Just an ordinary mini slig. Besides the fact that they come in different colore, types, and guns! Great collectables.

2 foot tall slig figure:

Completely bendable, has the MO voicovers, flashing lights, and if you but 20 dollars extra for it it has it's own smart AI! Think of it...A real slig living in your home. Oh and it says freeze and stuff from the 2-d games also if it spots something smaller than it (If you want it to).

I really like the big slig idea.

Ok this one is kinda lame but its all I could think of:
This toy has a mini crossbow with one of each ammo types, it has a wire that goes from one side to the other that holds little paper faces of all the outlaws. You can move the crossbow to try and shoot the outlaw faces. You can also adjust the distance of the outlaws.

I think all of the inventions are cool. I got another one:
6 chanting mudokins that have a button on the backs of them. If you press one, it will make a chanting sound and will trigger the other one, by sound. There would be a box, and if it heard the sound, it would move with the wheels under it. Mudokins are 2 1/2 inches high (Sitting indian style), and the box a small cube 3 inches on all sides.

EDIT: Ages 8-12

Cool! I like the little trigger effect, sounds great.

A toy that includes a Mudokon and a growing Spooceshrub. You press a botton on the back of the Mudokon and he starts making the chanting noise, then the Spooceshrub starts magicly growing. I have no idea how, it just does.

I've got one. It would be a wind up munch that would flip. Another would be a remote control gabbit that can swim in the water. Finnaly a stranger action set. It would come with stranger, 3outlaws, and a boss character. They would be in that lavel where you have to get the boss character from the mine cart.

You mean with Xplosives? Yeah that would be cool.

Hey guys what about this:
Ok this is a toy that comes with Stranger, an Outlaw Minion and a Wolvark.
Stranger stands in the middle of this magnetized platform and on the edge is either the Wolvark or the Minion(you can choose)The bad guys have magnets on the bottom so once you put the bad guy on the platform, he is drawn towards Stranger. About three quarters of the way there, the bad guy triggers a swich that causes Stranger to do his spin attack so when he reaches Stranger, he knocks the bad guy away!

I like the chippunk furby as long as it's not as irritating as the original furby. It makes me want to build one as my next robotics project.

I came up with a whole lot of ideas in a thread a while ago. I'll see if I can find them.

That remote control Gabbit is well cool! I would definately buy it. And the magnets Idea is very good.

Sold Separately:

Chippunk: Acts like a body slammer so when it hits the floor it says a phrase to annoy people. £7.99

Boombat: Acts like a water bomb. Hits the ground and Water blows out. Refillable. £10.99 (The Rediculous price they charge for small things nowehdays)

Stunkz: Hits the ground and releases steam from heated water pouches hidden inside the Stunk. £12.99

Thudslug: Designed to knock people over as they are running. £4.99

Zappflie: Shocks the outlaw/ game player but not in a harmful way. Just a slight sting and a jump.

Fuzzle: Fire the Fuzzle and when someone steps near it it, a sensor in the fuzzle stores it in it's memory, and sends it straight to the Bounty Hunters (You) Bounty Can.

Bounty Can: A samll handheld device, that allows you to store infomation of the outlaws (Photographs, favourite food ect.) The Outlaws are another player. There is a sensor in each of your Live ammo. When the sensor senses the bounty, it sends a message to your Bounty Can, and crosses this Outlaw off the list. When off the list a message gets sent to the outlaw messanger. It can also store sounds, if you want to send an instant sound to the Outlaw, for example you could send a sound of Stranger saying
"I'm behind you"
It would instantly get to the Outlaw Messenger and he would look behind him. Little does he know you're actually infront of him, ready to use a fuzzle trap
£ 20

Outlaw Messenger: works like a Bounty Can. Allows you to store information on the bounty Hunter so you can kill him (With the Outlaw Gun set, fires paper shells, £40). You are able to send messages too. £ 20

Thia is brilliant! Can you imagine if they actually made these!

OK. A little Munch action figure with a well.
Comes with Munch and well that has a little lever/swich on the side. The well is about three times the size as the action figure. You stick Munch in and pull the divice on the side and it sends Munch flying.

Remote Control Greeter.

I've been planning these for years.

Almighty Rasin Pajama Case. This Toy is large and Cuddly. It has a compartment inside him in which you can open up and find Lollypop Modokon Pops, and chocolate coins, but Mullah rather than Pounds or Dollars, in it when you first buy them. After that, he can be used to stuff your Pajams in. Age Range: All Ages. To suit the personality of the Raisin, always asleep, the raising smells of Lavendar and helps you get to sleep. Price averages at about £10. 1ft tall, 1 1/2 ft wide.

These are cool toys. I got another one:

-Stranger & Outlaw set-
8 inch Stranger figure and a crossbow in his hand. Button on gun
that shoots out a small fuzzle. 4 Outlaws with guns. Stranger has a button
on his back that makes his hand swing up, as if it were a punch.

I know this is not a toy but what if you had a mini model of the whole slig barracks? Think of it you put in my mini slig idea in the barracks and there would be some interactive stuff and you would have control of the whole barracks. Now YOU can be the glukkon!

This one would be cheap, a Molluck squirting gun. He had a cigar in his mouth, full him with water, press the button and water, oil or whatever you want to put in there comes out. But let's just hope that Oddworld doesn't go over board like Super mario. *Shivers*

Lol... i'd use the glukkon-head to spray water on my saister...

Nah i have an idea:
What a Level-creator set?? You could buy a starting set with 8 rupture-farms platform(which can be put together), 6 levers, 4 Poles to support the platforms if you want two or more levels, 2 doors(which can be "programmed" to be opened by pulling a lever). You will also get aa manual on how to program the stuff to work as it is suposed. The set would also include Abe, 10 slaves, 5 Sligs, mullock and a slog. The starting set would cost 60$, and you would also be able to buy seperaate stuff as more platforms, slaves, doors, levers.
There will be 3 starting sets, one for Rupture Farms, one for scrabania, and one for Paramonia. In the Scrabania and paramonia-set you will of course recieve some paramites and scrabs too. Later on, expansion packs like Stockyards, and the stuff from AE would be available, like the ball-cars and fleeches.

The age range would be from 7+
But it would opf course require an adult with some technical skills to help set up the level.

My Keyboard broke so I just had to copy and paste to try and post. Sorry about this Xavier, it won't happen again. It's wouldn't normally post three Cools in captials with an exlimation mark from each of them. I just copied it from from of Cullen Heaths post.

The Ice Lolly Comes tasting like a real Mudokon been skinned (Monkey Meet, cruel but tastey) The monkey Meet is greated then ground into tiny pieces, so you don't see it mixed in with the frozen Lime Juice (Keep it in a Freezer or it won't be frozen) but you will sure be able to taste it. The Rupture Farms Cookery only £50 (For the first day and A Half on sale, afterward it become £300) Age Range 06 - 29

He-he, cool.

Okay, check this out:

Vykkers Labs Giant Playset.

This is a playset of Vykkers labs. It comes with a plastic Vykkers Labs, 2ft x 4ft. Open up the lab, so the roof lies on the other end of the floor. This leaves two areas of the Lab. In the First half, is the room where you first get to play as munch. It has a chair and Fuzzle Cages, that you can open and close to place the Fuzzles in. The Heart Monitor makes sounds by the touch of a button, as do many other pieces of equipment in the room. In the Second half of the Labs is the Auctioneering Hall. This comes with the Stage, and a place where the Glukkons stand and Bid.

The set also comes with plastic characters that are roughly 4 inches high (The kind of smooth plastic that can resist baby slobber). These Characters include:

Humphrey, Irwin, Intern x2, 1 Scrub, Vykkers x2 (Coems with removable tools and armour) Abe, Munch, Lulu, Tex, Glukkons x6, Sligs x2, Fuzzles x20 and of cause the Auctioneer.

Roughly £40
